Zapier Integration
The official FastComments app for Zapier fires the moment a comment is posted, updated, or deleted, and lets any app create comments, pages, and users on your site. Sign in once, no API keys to copy.
Everything the app can do today. Triggers are instant and cost nothing to wait on; actions spend the same API credits a call from your own code would.

The integration works the way a first-party app should.
Connect with OAuth from the Zapier editor. No API key leaves your dashboard, and the connection can be reviewed or revoked at any time under Connected Apps.
Triggers are delivered by webhook the moment something happens. Nothing polls your account, so waiting for events costs no API credits.
Choose the United States or the EU region when you connect. Actions respect the same permissions and limits as the REST API, and administrative roles can never be granted from a Zap.

Add a FastComments step in Zapier, pick your region, and approve the connection on the FastComments consent page.
Choose New, Updated, or Deleted Comment, and narrow it to one of your domains if you like.
Send the comment to Slack, a spreadsheet, your CRM, or back into FastComments with a create or search step.
Turning the Zap on subscribes it to your account. The subscription shows on your Webhooks page and goes away when the Zap is turned off.
Common questions about using FastComments with Zapier.
Do I need a paid Zapier plan?
The FastComments app is free to use on any Zapier plan, including the free one. Zapier's own limits on the number of Zaps and tasks per month apply, and FastComments does not charge extra for the integration.
Who can connect an account?
The person approving the connection must be an API admin on the FastComments account. Account owners have this permission automatically and can grant it to other team members from the Users page.
Does it use my API credits?
Triggers do not. They are delivered by webhook, so waiting for events is free. Actions and searches call the REST API and spend the same credits a call from your own code would, one per call in most cases.
Can I limit a Zap to one of my sites?
Yes. Every trigger has a domain filter that lists the domains configured on your account. Leave it blank to receive events from all of them.
Does it work with the EU region?
Yes. Pick the EU region when you connect and every request stays on the EU infrastructure, exactly like the rest of your account.
How do I disconnect Zapier?
Open Connected Apps in the FastComments dashboard and revoke the Zapier connection, or remove it from My Apps in Zapier. Either way the token stops working immediately, and any Zap using it pauses until it is reconnected.
