People on your queue, in your dashboard.

Managed moderation by the FastComments team. Our moderators review comments inside your own account, follow your community guidelines, and escalate the policy calls to you. AI Agents and spam detection take the first pass so humans spend their time on judgment.

Six things the service ships with

Same dashboard, more hands.

There is no separate tool and no export of your data to a third party. FastComments moderators are regular Moderators on your account, with the scope you give them and nothing more.

  1. 01

    We agree the rules

You share your community guidelines and tell us what to approve, remove, and escalate. We turn that into a written playbook both sides sign off on.

  2. 02

    We join your account

Our moderators are added through Add Moderators and scoped with Moderation Groups, so they only see the pages, categories, or sites you assign.

  3. 03

    Machines first, people second

Spam detection and AI Agents handle the obvious cases. Our moderators work what is left: context, tone, appeals, and anything that needs a human read.

  4. 04

    You see everything

Each action lands in Comment Logs and Moderator Stats with the moderator's name on it. Policy questions come to your escalation contact, and you can remove our access at any time.

Where the model stops, a person picks up.

AI Agents are good at volume. People are good at judgment. Human Moderation Services is built to run alongside the agents you already have, not instead of them.

  • Agents and spam detection take the first pass, in dry-run or live, with hard budget caps.
  • Our moderators handle appeals, sarcasm, local context, and anything an agent escalated.
  • Policy questions go to your named escalation contact, not to a guess.
  • Agents and moderators act through the same tools, so every action shows up in the same logs.

Read about AI Agents

AI Agents and spam detection
  • Obvious spam and link drops
  • Profanity and blacklist hits
  • Repeat offenders and flag thresholds
  • First-pass labeling for review
FastComments moderators
  • Appeals and borderline calls
  • Tone, sarcasm, and local context
  • Brand and legal sensitivity
  • Escalating policy gaps to you
Trust factor Three commenters
  • Signed up today 12

Full spam checks. First comments held for a human.

  • Regular, 4 months 64

Normal checks. Agents weigh history before acting.

  • Contributor, 2 years 100

Spam check skipped. Raised to 100 by a moderator after a wrong auto score.

Scores change as people comment and as moderators adjust them. Agents and humans always read the latest value.

One trust score, shared by agents and people.

Every commenter on your site carries a trust factor from 0 to 100. Spam detection, AI Agents, and our moderators all read the same number, and our moderators can change it, so a human call today changes how the machines treat that person tomorrow.

  • Built automatically from tenure on your site, comments left, and comments your team has pinned. Long-standing regulars reach 100.
  • Spam detection relaxes for trusted users and skips the check entirely at 100. Low-trust comments can be held for review instead of published.
  • AI Agents see the score alongside account age, ban history, and recent comments, so they warn a first-day account and leave a regular alone.
  • Our moderators set it by hand when the number is wrong: raise a known contributor, lower a repeat offender, with one keystroke on the moderation page.
  • Every change lands in Comment Logs with the value before and after and who made it.

How the trust factor is calculated

Built on the tools you already have.

Nothing about the service is hidden behind a vendor portal. It runs on the moderation features every FastComments account ships with.

  • Moderators

Our team signs in as Moderators with access to the Moderate Comments page and nothing else.

  • Moderation Groups

Limit our moderators to specific pages, categories, or sites. Widen or narrow the scope whenever you like.

  • Moderator Stats

Per-moderator activity so you can see what our team did and how fast.

  • Comment Logs

Every approve, remove, ban, and edit on a comment, with who did it and when.

  • Revoke access

Remove a moderator and their access ends immediately. No ticket, no waiting.

Terms are per contract.

Coverage hours, languages, response targets, and pricing are agreed with you before anyone touches your queue. Tell us about your community and we will put a proposal together.

Where our moderators are. For global and US customers, our moderators are based in the United States, so your data does not leave the country. On our EU deployment we use EU-based moderators only.

  • Coverage window and days of the week
  • Languages your moderators need to read
  • Response targets for new comments and escalations
  • Escalation contacts on your side and ours
  • Reporting cadence and format

Frequently Asked Questions

We've compiled answers to some of the most common questions to help you get started.

What access do FastComments moderators get?

plus-icon

They are added as Moderators on your account. Moderators can only use the Moderate Comments page. They cannot change settings, add other moderators, or export data. With Moderation Groups you can limit them to specific pages, categories, or sites.

Do I still need AI Agents if I have human moderators?

plus-icon

You can run either on its own. Most teams run both: spam detection and AI Agents clear the obvious cases, and our moderators spend their time on the comments that need a human read. Agents can also escalate directly to the queue our moderators work.

What is the trust factor and who controls it?

plus-icon

A 0 to 100 score each commenter has on your site, built from how long they have commented, how much, and how often your team pinned them. Spam detection and AI Agents read it to decide how strictly to treat a comment, and moderators, including ours, can override it by hand. Changes are recorded in Comment Logs.

What hours and languages do you cover?

plus-icon

That is set per contract. Tell us your traffic pattern, time zones, and languages and we will propose a coverage window and response targets that fit.

Where are your moderators located?

plus-icon

For global and US customers, our moderators are based in the United States and your data stays there. Customers on our EU deployment are moderated only by EU-based moderators, so comment data does not leave the EU.

Whose rules do your moderators follow?

plus-icon

Yours. Before we start we write a playbook from your community guidelines that says what to approve, remove, and escalate. When something is not covered, it goes to your escalation contact instead of being decided for you.

How do I see what your moderators did?

plus-icon

Every action is recorded in Comment Logs with the moderator's name, and Moderator Stats shows per-moderator activity. We also agree a reporting cadence as part of the contract.

Can I stop the service or remove access?

plus-icon

Yes. Removing a moderator from your account ends their access immediately. Contract terms for ending the service are agreed up front.
