So for some reason the game won't even unpack or install properly. Like I mount it and run the exe file but when I start to install it it stops shortly after and says that decompression failed and just closes itself down. Can anyone help?
Regina try a redownload of the whole game and do a clean install sounds like you had a blip on downloading it the first time. :) if that doesnt work let me know.
Turns out that the game for some reason would only unpack under my c drive and not an external drive I was trying to uninstall it on. I don't suppose anyone knows why this is and how I can install the game on an external drive.
Thank you but I figured out what the issue was. For some odd reason the games I install from here just don't want to install on or decompress on any other drive but the C drive, it fails every time otherwise. I don't suppose you or anyone else can give me an idea of how I can install it on one of my other drives. I prefer to save all my games on a separate drive as to not clog up my C drive with games.

i installed yonder and the update on windows 10. reinstalled it multiple times, but im having an issue where my controller doesnt work except for the "press any button" part, and then when i get ingame, it zooms into the boat, and all i can do is spin the camera, none of the controls work, as well as the controls menu locking me into a blank screen when i try to change anything
i figured out the issue, maxjoypad (cell phone gamepad software) was highjacking the controls, this game needs an option to select the controller youd like to use.
If you are running on Win7, you may not have the windows platform update that adds support for DirectX 11.1. Can someone help me, please? The game works fine except for one problem: everything is floating. Like in the beginning there is no ship, the character just runs in the air. When I get to the cave scene it's the same: just running on air.
it doesn´t work for me :I . it starts normally, showing all logos of creators etc. but it then goes to black screen ... i have even installed all things which were needed ( softwares from ''black screen'' problem). is it running for you ?
You installed the latest driver for your VGA? (If you dont know, you can search on google about 3DChip, download it, it's freeware. Then it will give to you a link to update your VGA's driver), it will fixed your problems ;)

Take note that the DirectX 11.1 platform update the devs suggest for Win7 has compatibility issues on certain computers that have hybrid video cards.
