Hello guys, my base game is working fun but how do i update it to the latest version. i download it the link and extracted it. now there is a setup and codex. can you please tell the steps on how to install the update. the games is not working for me now because of doing the update wrong.

Ok i figured out how to change it! you have to go to your documents folder go to the folder C:\Users\Documents\American Truck Simulator\profiles\ There may be multiple profile_id in the directory, I had two of them and i had to edit both of them for my game to change to english! Most people from what i understand only have to edit the last one (the last updated one that is) Then edit config.cfg file using a text editor. Go to line 86. There you would find uset g_lang "ru_ru". Change the value into uset g_lang "en_en". Save the file and open the game. You should have English now! Good luck and enjoy!
download 1.37 and install it as a standalone game,not like an update cuz it's actually standalone then you can update to 1.37.1.1 if you want later the base download and 1.36 updates are useless now
1.Was it error md5 or something? 2.Did you install 1.37 after 1.36? If the second question is yes, then try to uninstall it all, and install 1.37 as standalone (like if it's the base download) (without installing 1.36 and other updates) then update to 1.37.1.1 Hope this helped..
ok so I downloaded it all, then what I discovered is that 1.37 is standalone and you don't need any of the other updaters or the "base" game I'll save you 4.38 gb if you are downloading for the first time : just download the last 2 updates without anything else, install the 1.37 then 1.37.1.1 and you are done,no need to download anything else I had 1.36 already installed, uninstalled it and installed 1.37 as a standalone installer then installed 1.37.1.1 and I got the game I think IGG should look into this and fix it

I have the same issue as HotshotGaming. It will run the first time but after that it crashes before even loading. And before someone says "Apply the crack" there is no crack in the download file I used.
Hey i found the Solution go into User/Public/Public Documents/ and delete the Steam folder. Then the Game Opens and you have to go to edit and uncheck Use Steam Cloud. Now you can reopen as much as you want. Enjoy!

Hey everyone! I've recently tried to play this game and when I downloaded it, it worked the first time but afterwards, the application isn't opening anymore. I tried x64 and x86 both multiple times and it does not open anymore. I tried deleting all the files and reinstalling the game but there's no success, the same thing happens. When the game asks if you want to do something with Steam, you have to refuse, otherwise it will have to do everything I did every time and you will lose your backup every time. It was fast for me (download at 10MB/s, it depends on your connection.

i have played ats before long ago and it had no problems i have a weak pc but it still runs perfectly ets or ats even if its the newest version si i dont think that it does so because of my specs
Go to C:/Users/Public/Public Documents and delete the Steam folder. After that, launch the game, edit your profile, and uncheck the box beside Use Steam Cloud. Worked for me, hope it works for you.
game worked for me but app crashed when try to change graphics setting. if anyone can share your config.cfg with ultra graphics setting would be lovely.
You use too much outdated mods. (Yes I know, even tho its says "active" on the mod manager, but the game kinda refuse it).
Try use x86 instead x64.
I believe this version is 1.35 open beta version. Which I again believes, just a test version. My suggestion, just play with prev version till they "IGG-Games" upload the 1.35 release version. Or, you can play ETS, they already uploaded the 1.35 with nav system.

All updates work till you get to the last one 1.33.2.0. Doesn't load the game. Antivirus was turned off, installed and reinstalled multiple times and still cant get the latest update to work. UPDATE: Deleted everything including local data, reinstalled one more time and now it works on latest update update. I think it was the mods.
you need to download all the updates for the 1.33 to continue. Most of the files that are needed for each update is in all the following ordered updates. So if you didn't download the 1.32.4.29 the other updates won't work. its just 500mb of less
You didn't crack it correctly.. Have to download the game first, then the updates all in order, after game is installed, move the plaza items from the update folder, then run the update, do that process 3 times. Run it in Admin mode, turn off A/V and good to go.
so I did everything right but I don't have all the DLC's. I followed the steps installing the updates including the all dlc one but I don't have all the dlc? did I do anything wrong?

I Requested the 1.32 update since it sounds like a lot of people are looking for it and judging from the description it is a pretty big one! Here is hoping.
You can put that on your steam library and play the game from steam. But it isn't act like original steam games, it's just shortcut and you can use shift+tab steam browser in the game. Steam workshop or online systems are won't work. How to do it: Open the steam application. Go to Library section. Press the Add a game or sth in the left bottom. Then find that shortcut to add.
One issue I am having is that I am running the amtrucks application in the bin/win_x86 folder as an admin, it loads fine, i create a profile, but when it comes to selecting a headquarter location, the game just freezes and I don't know what the issue is, I have tried reinstalling numerous times.
Everything seems to work fine just like that. Copy folder out, run the launcher and it works. Steam loads only when you launch the "_o" file. Thanks man!

Ok for all these peeps who say this is not working, try turning your Anti virus off for 1 hour, do the install from scratch again including copying the crack files, then see if it works, i know it works i'm playing the game right now! if not maybe just buy the game.
agree. the "virus" is mostly just the crack that edits some system files... but gets detected as a virus due to it accessing system files. BUT is not a virus and holds no risk(Except! being a legit pirate) but yeah Ford i agree with you 100% and i am downloading the game now so i will report back if it works or not.

Yep pretty much answered your own question, there was a VR beta version for ATS on here, when it was 1.28, I assume you would have to go to steam beta again.
For who have the problem with the cargo disappearing... The problem is when the game do the auto save. So, if anyone could disable this shit the problem will be fixed, for all of us.
it wont work with steam version i tried it with ets2(of course the dlc for ets and not ats). they register the dlc only if you buy it, i think. but if you have the game already cracked.... well idk just download all parts take only the heavy haul dlc and put into your game.
For those people had problem that cant launch/run the game..please disable any antivirus because antivirus has deleted/quarantine the crack file.install the game after disable antivirus..

This one wont run in VR. To run in VR you need to switch to a different beta SDK in Steam to have it run in VR. This package doesn't seem to be that version. When I switch my ETS2 to that SDK the main executables get updated, so the ones for VR arent included here
