After looking at the boot.bat, i noticed that it just adds "EN" at the end of the command. And sure enough by creating the launcher's shortcut and adding EN at the end of Target, i can start the launcher directly from it's shortcut. My question is what does the EN switch do (or is it even a switch)?
Every time I try to open the file launcher.exe using wine it says "please start from Steam Client or boot.bat" If I try to open boot.bat it says "file not found" I know for 100% certainty that I have installed the crack correctly (I've done it before with the original Steins;Gate). Please help!

just bear with the slow start it will get very very interesting on the long run i think i know that you know what i mean if you love the anime you will worship this just as much as the previous vn. the songs are great as always and the FEELS man T.T....just disable your AV before installing this to avoid complications..that worked for me and last a WARNING: if you choose to play this im sure that even tho you've already watched the anime you'll be forced to rewatched the whole goddamm series it almost made me mad

too many missing files in your game folder you didn't installed and cracked it properly
open ISO install the game choose destination folder exit installation COPY all contents of "CODEX" folder in ISO PASTE it on the destination folder of your game (launch boot.cmd or the shortcut in your desktop whether you tick "create shortcut" during installation)
installing that would completes your missing dlls and dependencies in your game depending on what platform you are using Lav filters is kinda responsible on launching video files within the game sometimes it will crash if opening credits on VNs plays suddenly and Lav filters is the only fix for that

Perhaps there is a possibility that it can not be launched due to conflict by the game engine of KIRIKIRI.exe(吉里吉里.exe) Activation was confirmed by uninstalling the game using the same Novel game engine as my environment. Perhaps it can be solved by moving the target icon from the desktop.
For some reason the only way to launch the game it's from a shortcut of "launcher.exe" (Game.exe never launches the game for some reason) and adding EN in the target path(I think it's called that in english, my W10 is in spanish). In my case it would look like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steins Gate 0\launcher.exe" EN As for launching it from steam I tried the same thing with "Set Launch Options" but had no luck. I will put the guide here for someone who don't know how to CRACk the game. After you download the game there will be to 2 part game. Winrar them into one folder and you will get an iso file name XXX.iso. IF u using win10 just double click it and run the install, if u using win xp,7... you will need to winrar it into another folder to get needed file to install or you can use "ultra ISO" to open it. After the game complete the installation, go back to the iso file to find a folder name Codex. It contain all the file you need to crack the game. Just copy, replace all the file in it into the game folder u just install. If u didn't copy or copy but don't replace all those files, the game will put u onto the steam website and force u to buy it. Or to be clear you can't play the game.

I already did that, to be more specific I: mounted the iso > ran the setup > installed the game > finished the install > opened the iso > copied every single file from CODEX folder to the game's root folder. The problem isn't that I can't play, is that when I play it with steam open on my PC it gets injected with it's own steam overlay showing things that a pirated game shouldn't like steam guides and the community hub (it doesn't show achievements nor changes my account status from Online to In Game), when I launch it without steam it launches fine without opening steam nor getting injected by it's own steam overlay. I don't mind that much about a fix to it rather than knowing if it's safe to play like that with steam open or if I should just close it before playing it to be safe.
Sure, the game work fine so what the big deal. It is a crack game so it might be incomparable with steam. If you don't think it safe then just buy it. It is "much" safer. If you played the crack game then you should except it.
If you cant launch your game , you need to download it again in order to have the file named "CODEX" in the first part of the game. Then copy everything in it and paste it in your game folder. (Not CODEX , just the things that are in.) It worked for me.
I can launch the game and play it no problem, I already copied everything from the CODEX folder to the game folder. Steins;Gate 0 anime is adapted from this VN, although it's most likely the anime will take only one ending, you can play this VN to see some other endings and routes.
i have the same question. But in the description say that the story will change based on the choices you make. If thats true ill play the game, if not ill wait till the anime is finished
The anime will follow the different paths of the visual novel, but not all of them. In the game, there is different paths, and it's up to you to chose what to do to change the world lines. The anime should follow the true ending, and there are other (confusing af) stories in the VN. Have fun!

no ,it was because there was localization in psv ,and the hacker scene people dumping the texts from psv and reinject to replace the japanese to english translation for pc version ,so it is not official release.

When I check my documents folder, a new "magessteam" folder randomly appears there.
