Alright, after a few hours I finally got it to work:
Download Part1, Part2, Part3 of the original Dynasty Warriors 8 (non updates).
Extract the zips together to get the iso.
Run the iso with Daemon Tools Lite (or some other thing)
Install as normal (DO NOT apply the crack)
Download the Update Part1, Part2
Extract the zips of the update and run the Setup.exe and target the installation directory of Dynasty Warrior 8 (from step 4)
After it's done, copy all the crack files from the update ONLY and replace in the installation directory of DW8.
Run DW8 as admin.
Video and Audio settings had to be set in-game.
XInput controllers work (and presumeably XBox controllers) with 2-player local co-op splitscreen; from battle start menu, need to press F12 on the Keyboard to enable player 2's controller.
thank you for your comment, thanks to you i manage to avoid all of those problem at other comment beside the issue with Movie since the FFDShow at MPC Mega Version were the main cause problem of Freeze and Blank Screen could be easily solved by either disable the movie at config.exe or by uninstalling VLC or MPC Mega Version that interfere with the movie of the Game.
there's conflict between the FFDshow codec, usually happen if you install MPC K-lite codec Pack Mega Version, just install the standard version & your problem will be solve
Ok the mega.co file are 100% ok as for install update. First install the main game don't copy the crack file after full installation it would look like my game path( local disc (F) /Games/Dynasty warriors 8 extreme legend ). The download the file from mega.co not megaup after repack, to proceed clean update installation choose where you want put your update file like mine it would be in (local disc (F) /Games ) . Do not highly you game folder dynasty warriors 8 because it will create second folder inside your (Dynasty warriors 8 extreme legend) and would lead to failed update. When you choose where the update would go you just need to find where your game at like mine again Data F /Games just highlight the folder where your game in it would automatically add update file into the main game folder without creating another folder inside it. Make sure the choose path file look like this Data (F/Games/Dynasty warriors 8 extreme legend) if it look like this mean it's correct then install that update and wait until your update installation go away do not touch anything. After it all finish you would not see any error for data file 3 since well you download through mega.co then you copy the crack codex file from the update file not the one from the main game installation one only copy the update codex one into the main game. If you follow my guide your game would start nearly instantly first thing to do is to check the game install correctly go into the option if the text file in that entire option highlighted not change when you check all those options that mean your game already installed correctly. AND PLS REMOVE THAT SKIP ADS POP UP THAT THING IS MANACE KEEP REDIRECT ME EVEN IM IN INCOGNITO IT STILL ATTEMPT TO REDIRECT ME THAT ADS IS LIKE VIRUS .
For me, there is an error of CODEX's crack file that make my game start longer (about 15sec while normal is 1sec) and always "not responding" when loading battle. I've tried to install the DLC to get the costumes, but so far nothing's working. I've tried to use the crack in the original file, that doesn't work. I've tried to use the crack in the update file, that doesn't work either. Can somebody help me out?
I finally realized what the problem was. The DLC file on MegaUp is faulty. I downloaded it again from Mega co and it works just fine. Admins, (or whoever makes the links) would you kindly fix the link on MegaUp so people don't download a faulty file?

I TRIED EVERYTHING I COULD, and it took me almost 1 DAY for nothing, I reinstalled Microsoft Visual c++ 2010 (x86 and x64), installed directx 9(through DirectX End-User Runtime (June 2010)), installed the latest net framework. I tried dependency walker, and found out that it was a compability issue, all of the dll files are incompatible(x64 dll files), and theres no way im going to replace all of them with x86 dll files, including user32.dll. So I tried to run the game in administrator mode, and in compability mode. AND NONE OF THEM WORKED! WHAT THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?? DOWNGRADE WINDOWS TO WINDOWS 7 32bit????????????? PLEASE HELP EDIT: My system is Windows 10 64 bit OS, version 21H1
Turns out I was dumb, I used dependency walker x64 to check errors. After I realized my dumbass mistake, I then used the x86 version the check, and found the missing "dll" file. It was vcomp100.dll. Then I downloaded 32bit version of vcomp100.dll and copy paste it to the game folder. And now it works.
Also, while I'm here, if your game running in slowmotion while in battle, all you need to do is
go to game folder, and right click "Launch.exe" -> properties -> compability -> check "run this program in compability mode" and change to windows 7.
Bro that error is not the game seem like you need to reset your pc. That error mostly because well the system filed mess up somewhere while updating your windows and it mess you 32 and 64 bits system. Clean reset is only main fix that I know . I barely update my window 10 because well to avoid error issue cause by update itself.
I think you need the patch1.02 ver. one, it fixed everything, when i apply the patch 1.02, the game run smoothly no crash/freeze/fc, i can play anything there
win10 can mount images? what u talking about? lol. literally all you do is right click the file>mount or just double click the file like any other file u just open up? u dont need daemon unless you are legacy like win7 or xp or alternate os maybe.
so, mine got crashed after put up the update, what i did are, install update on DW8 folder, after install it makes another folder inside DW8 folder, i just cut all into the DW8 folder, apply crack, and voila, the game crashed and won't open, is there any installation process that i should follow?
Uhh...I don't think you're doing this correctly. When you install an update, you want the update to overwrite the original game files with the updated game files. It doesn't make sense to me that it made another folder inside the DW8 folder. Are you sure you installed the update correctly?
Hey just to mention minor error on the update, everytime in the menu before battle, there's an error which makes every word that highlighted will be shown different.. For example, if i highlighted the "change weapon" choice in the battle menu, the word suddenly changed from "change weapon" to other words.. This error continues on every choice on the menu, every word when highlighted, becomes another word, such as "shu", "temper", "sell weapon", etc. I know it's such a very minor error but if the admin can fix it, that'd be amazing
Is the file size less than 5 MB? Did you get the file directly, or have you used an exe? If the answer to any of the questions is yes, you downloaded an ad. Please try downloading the files again and make sure you get the correct ones.

Guys, just buy the steam vers - it's on sale for 14.99, and get it asap before it's back to 49.99. The game had crash on Ambition mode, Freemode, and my gawd, the loading screen is painful.

Why after install on the folder dont have uninstall.exe? Just the 1st one, it'll extract the 2nd file automatically, then just install the update and copy the files from the "CODEX" folder to your game's folder. Also, that update has the Japanese voice option on the sound menu
Hello! I can start up the game without any problems, but whenever I want to load a battle in any of the modes it freezes at the loading screen. Since I can run DW8:Empires smoothly I'm guessing this is what lewis1190 was talking about and not just my computer. Could this be fixed?
Go tot ask manager > "Set Affinity" select only 1 CPU, then i works, but becomes slow, when in battle you can activate them all again. Or just download the Update, that fixes it, also makes game load even faster than before.
Please update this game to the build of 2017/02/07. With the current state of the game, it's nearly-unplayable due to a game-breaking bug. This bug causes computers with dual-core or better CPUs to completely not load levels, and freeze the game. The workaround for this is to change to 1 CPU before loading the level, then switching back to all cores once the level is loaded. However, it's too tiring to keep performing this workaround for every level you enter. Updated versions of the game include additional DLC and performance fixes and additional controller support. These bugs were fixed within a few days of the game coming out, so please upload a more recent build. Thanks in advance!

When you mount the ISO and open the thing in file explorer, you'll see CODEX. There you can see some modified files that you need to copy and paste in the right place... But... Here's another problem: Whenever I try to begin a battle, the game freezes... Surprisingly the music is still going but the entire game is frozen. And yes, I have Directx 9 installed...
