is this just stonehearth and banished put together? is there really going to be any truly new city building sims. i know those are not the originals themselves but ive probably played hundreds of these games and it just doesnt seem like any are really different

Try to use KingdomsAndCastles.exe and not LAUNCHER_x64.exe or LAUNCHER.exe. With KingdomsAndCastles.exe , the game didn't crash for me when i place the castle.

just played this game all the way until i had nearly infinite resources and guard towers so tall that vikings couldn't even reach the shore before half of them were dead. after a day and a half playing there is nothing much to do but i was invested the whole time.
This game is still in beta right? Had to wait for full release then. I played it before and don't really know how the ending should go. I killed the dragon dozens of time. They should make quests or something

Love this game, it's so cute to own some little town and it's so realistic looking too! Best game (of this style/genre) for me this year. I hope there's a sequel. I'm thinking of Buying it legit! it's not really, it's just a very simple block design, that's like saying minecraft looks like anime and while you can get those results with some modded skins, it's really not an anime art style by core

The game is kinda well made...but honestly its lacks severely in depth and longevity or complexity. To me it more feels like a unity project thats mechanically sound but offers nothing beyond the first 2 hours of gameplay.

ok so started playing and i know this is not the place to report bugs :P but just a question anyway - the bug - so i am doing ok in peaceful (i know how to play) but as soon as ai build a farm or quarrey, they stop everything else, they stop building, they stop chopping trees etc - can no longer play once farm/quarrey etc - or am i doing something wrong?
Look at number of population. They will fill up job slots. If you have all available pop in job slots, there's no one to do the odd jobs like building, chopping wood, etc... Hope that helps.
