Hey Thomas, I'm still stuck at the login screen. I created the steam_appid.txt file with 622770 in it. This allows me to start the game .exe without SmartSteamEmu, and it allows me to type into the email and password fields (which were previously greyed out). However, the login still fails the log-in since it can't connect to the servers. I also tried removing System.Configuration.dll as you said but it still doesn't work. Help please? By the way, I'm using the latest version of the game (v1.1.17f), not the one posted here.
This game actually does have multiplayer, infact it's nearly multiplayer exclusive. as one player infiltrates a building while another "infiltrates" (hacks) its systems.
I've downloaded the game, and put the notepad folder with the code within. Anyway, i have a problem. If it's ok i can't play multiplayer on cracked games, i can't play solo anymore, it asks me to create 2 gamer profiles... How can i do to play solo ?
So... I Could finally start properly the game thanks to the comment but entering the game the controls via keyboard or controlpad won't able me to move at all... Could you please make everything work properly!? I mean, from the comments it seems everyone has problems with it so why did you even release it anyway... :/
For the record both lauchers that came with the game crashed. I added some steam api files , steamclient and steam appid to the game folder, and opened the game executable manually without the launcher. Edit: found out that disabling sseoverlay on the ini file makes the game work, but gets stuck on the sign up screen
Just create a "steam_appid.txt" file and put "622770" and then run the game via "Hacktag.exe" but can not move The id in the file can be anything but "622770" is the real id of the game
