I have a question that isn't about the crack, where can I find the save files? I recently bought the actual game and would like to use my already existing saves.

Yes dipshit. I know how to install games from this website, this isn't my first game. I even watched your stupid video. What I'm saying is that when I try to click the exe, nothing happens. I think the exe is broken like what Robert10 said.
For anyone who has trouble starting up the game: The CPY's Prey.exe is broken. In order to fix this download the Prey v2 Crack by BALDMAN and only extract the .exe and replace the CPY's Prey.exe with BALDMAN's Prey.exe and it will launch.
I'm stuck with corrupted saves. I thought redownloading would help but it doesn't seem to. How would i patch it to 1.2 (the version that is supposed to fix that). If i download the patch installer it doesn't recognize the install and fails to update. Any ideas on how to get this working?
Have you installed all of the latest of Direct X, Visual C++, Net framework, and the like ?
Have you copied the crack into the game files properly ?
Have you tried launching it as administrator ? If it still doesn't work, Maybe try redownloading the whole game again. Otherwise, i guess you're out of luck. Maybe try searching somewhere else for the latest version for the game in case your pc aren't compatible with the version uploaded here. And don't worry, there's still a lot of great game coming this year to pour yourself into ;)
Weird... In my case, I have windows 10. And when i open the game, it just briefly appear on the task manager before dissapearing again, no error whatsoever. But after i set it on windows 8 Compatibility mode, it launches normally...
Parts 1-7 have different names than the other 13 parts because the files were updated here. Is it required that I download those again? This game took me 2 weeks to download and downloading those parts again would add 3 more days to that.
edit:don't worry l fixed it l just closed the game and reopened smartsteamemu but the prey.exe has disappeared so l have to put the .exe into it but then it tells me to put some values in that l don't even know. please could someone help?

Baldman's v2 bypass* for v1.0.0 has been confirmed working for v1.0.2. That being said I'm waiting for v1.0.1.0 which fixes corrupt saving amongst many other issues.
Sir, 1.0.1(.0) is an earlier version as compared to 1.0.2. Saves were fixed as of the later version. Just because the "exe" and the related "work" with 1.0.0 doesn't mean there couldn't be issues. Those of us who have been around for ages know that a later version of files applied to an earlier crack can have unknown results. Since the corrupted save issue can strike at any time (Kotaku reviewer @ 34 hours+ allegedly) I still stand by this claim. No one truly knows. Lastly, since the files can be applied offline and require no online presence at any time, the end result is a crack by definition, although some see it your way (as in, the copy protection is left intact and is "worked around" during the preload - as stated by those better than I in EXELAB). 200 MB ~= 1.6 Gbit which, even with standard fiber is not possible without multi-/tie-ins. 1 Gbit/s is 125 MB/s and even then that's max. Normally you have to eat 5% or so in overhead. On top of that, most fiber conns don't actually get the full throughput - more like 950-990. 200 MB I think was a little "overestimation". I'll eat 80 Mb/s even though that's half what I can yank and about a quarter of what V can. I'm not sure why the "bloating" was necessary.

Okay, I guess I'll stop hounding you. For reference though, when someone asks your speed and you wanna give MB/s for your Mb/s - it's about 30 MB/s minus overhead.
Your test gives 240+ Mb... simply divide by 8. That's 30 MB/s. However, over time you'll see that you won't get that rate due to overhead (protocols, etc.). The normal rate is your max minus 5%-10% depending on a slew of factors. Thanks for following through. i might have found a way to play it with the torrent here i downloaded a said to be crack from another site on a dummy laptop it haves a exeluancher and steam files it looks like a crack to me but just to be safe i have slow internet when its done downloading ill message back here if it works and is safe so just hope the best for me.

Well, mass effect andromeda got cracked quickly, and if a game with Denuvo protection gets cracked quickly, that hurts Denuvo. Also igg is getting better at cracking, noticed some fast speeds boi :)
