how do i get an older version of this? im going to try something with that never mind i figured out how but i couldn't play the version with the death engine mission but i can play the game again now
some people have figured out how to play but they either dont care or they dont check disqus, in the case of thatoneshortkid they have been active but not helping out here, if i manage to find out how to play the game ill tell you, right now the game launches but i cant input any vr controls, as in, steam vr doesnt detect the game so i cant do shit. im going to try re downloading it and launching it as is no .bat shit just through steam. hope it works. if it does i can walk you through it. edit: it didnt fucking work
ive tried every thing i could think of i think this really needs oculus which means if your on htc vive you need to figure out how to get it into revive please say it here if you somehow figure out
guys if your not using an oculus thing thats why nothing works i installed an oculus software on mine and it now works (well almost i got to figure out how i can go to the actual game because its saying it needs oculus) its just stuck on that screen now any fixes?
I havethis issue: Game opens on desktop, not VR. The screen says "Requires Oculus Rift. You will not be able to continue without a headset. Press and hold any button on your controller to continue." If I open desktop IN VR, I can point the controller at the screen and it'll respond like it's working (a dotted circle appears around the yellow dot) but then just refreshes back to this page. Never opens in VR. I'm on Odyssey+, and have tried with all sorts of combinations of having WMR Portal, SteamVR, Oculus, Revive open. Any thoughts?
The death engine one? If you're talking about that, the level is already there, but go see my guide below if you want to know how to get past the entitlement check.
Open the IEYTD executable with the ReviveInjector_x64.exe file, or make a batch file and put "@start ReviveInjector_x64.exe IEYTD.exe" without the quotation marks. And that's it! You should be able to now play IEYTD. Comment if you have any problems. Credit to dova4653246543 for the almost working hack, and that inspired me to try this. Edit: Oh yeah, and BTW there's the Death Engine Level. (can't confirm if the Vive/Index/WMR bypass is working, so if one of you has one of the specified HMDs, can you see if it's working? Thanks.)
If my method doesn't work, make sure you are either typing the script correctly, or opening IEYTD.exe, with ReviveInjector_x64.exe, and not LAUNCHER_x64.exe.
Do you get the "Entitlement Check Failed" Screen? If you do make sure you're opening the IEYTD.exe file with the ReviveInjector_x64.exe file, and not the LAUNCHER_x64.exe. Or you can just make a batch file and put, "@start IEYTD.exe ReviveInjector_x64.exe" without the quotation marks.
okay so the game launches but that's it, vr headset doesnt activate. do i need the vive software? i just use steam vr cause vive shit is ass. the game is just black when i start it up. im downloading the vive software now but i dont think that will work. edit: it didnt work.
Won't work with the Index. The entitlement check gets bypassed, but it's still not playable since SteamVR doesn't recognize it. I got it to work with the Index finally, you also need the latest version of Revive, go into the install folder and copy the xinput1_3.dll from the xinput/x86 folder ("C:\Program Files\Revive\xinput\x86\xinput1_3.dll"). Put the xinput1_3.dll into the game folder, now the game should work properly with the Index knuckles. You also don't need the ReviveInjector_x64.exe and the x64 folder, just the ReviveInjector_x86.exe and the x86 folder from the archive since the game has been compiled in 32-bit anyway.
HOW TO CRACK: Get the ReVive injector from somewhere (I had it in my Vader Immortal crack folder from this site, but it's in a lot of VR game cracks) and put it in the same folder as this game's exe - to run the game, drag the game's EXE into the reviveinjector_x64.exe and it'll run perfectly. You can also edit the .bats that come with the other cracks if you want to open the game that way, but you don't have to
Got the 31/12/2019 update so should be recent enough, but when using launcher.exe/launcher_x64.exe I get an "Entitlement Check Failed!" message in-game window and nothing on the headset. When using IEYTD.exe I have the same message, but on the headset. Is the crack missing?
