how do i actually play the game, once i install it using the codex it just takes me to the steam page where i still need to buy the actual game, i feel like i'm just dumb so i'd appreciate some help whether i'm doing something wrong or didn't install it right or something pls let me know thx
My laptop suddenly shut down and when I restart it and relaunch the game. The Halo Wars won't launch. A black screen appear with the game's name on it before the screen closed down. Can someone help me?
i see while checking on other site on how to download the crack it seems there is an issue regarding the save file it will automatically delete on certain mission, and you will need to install some software and disable hyperv on bios for the crack to work, i guess this is one of the reason why igg deleted the halo wars 2 need to look for other RTS games for now or purchase the game hahaha

Hey,for halo wars the definitive edition, i downloaded 5 parts of the game from http://mega.co and the 6th part doesn't work so can i just download the other parts from another site like google docs?

Can u guys help me? It says that the detected video adapter is below the minimum requirements but it is above... I have windows 7 x64, a GTS 250, i7 860, and enough space for the game and directx 11... but sadly it wont work
Download the folder online...A 'dll' site.This is also common in my games too...Then you upload it into your file directory.Start the game,thats all...
Ive tried that, doesn't help. When I run the game it says my video card doesn't meet minimum requirements, then shuts down. When I run as admin it runs, but the screen is completley black, I managed to get to the tutorial by clicking randomnly, but still black. My video card is better than the recommended requirements, I am more than capable of running the game, just, for whatever reason, the screen remains black. Can't seem to find anyone with this issue either. Im running on windows 10, and maybe it's some kind of anti-pirating measure on windows 10 on microsoft games? EDIT: I updated my drivers, it works now.
I recommand C&C red Alert 3, C&C Tibirian Wars, Earth 2150 and Eath 2160 (very complex gameplay), Planatary Annihilation Titans with Legion mod(this adds a second faction) and for Beginners Grey Goo Definitve Edition also avaible on IGG Games. This Halo looks great but gameplay sucks! The game is much too simple for an real RTS game. Sorry
Complexity does not make a RTS good. Being "simple" is what a lot of people like about Halo Wars. Having a user interface, that doesn't take a strung out tutorial to do basic tasks, allows players to jump in quicker without having so much thrown at them at one time. Sorry
For me a good RTS must have: A good Story, micromangement, tactical deph, a fair balancing between the factions, nice graphics and a long playtime. I wan´t to lost myself in the universe which was createt by the developers.
That´s only your opinion. Much people likes complex games more than a simple click festival with 5 minutes matches. RTS can be much more than action and nice graphics. I think those half RTS games where made for kids or casual gamers, and not for adult core gamers. Sorry again!
But this is how Halo RTS... it's different gameplay than other RTS Games, isn't it ? and also it has their own fans that love the gameplay mechanics like myself... Take a look about new Halo Wars 2.... it still same gameplay but it's improved.... not changed it.... if you don't like the game... then don't play it
You can use the steamworks fix made by Voksi at the revolt site to play using steam. Bear in mind you still won't be able to play with those who bought the game.
