I Had some issues downloading this before, but i figured out what happened. -Problem: The game would "open" and would show the screen for selecting controls (keyboard/controllers), but if I tried to click anything the game would freeze up and i would have to close out of it. -Reason: Only parts of the game had actually downloaded because some of the zip file types were not compatible with what i was using to extract the files. The 'Meta' Files are not compatible with BreeZip. -Solution: I downloaded 7-Zip and used that to extract the files instead, now the game works perfectly fine. If you have similar issues I would recommend trying to redownload the game but extracting it with a new program, since you might just have several important files missing.
For anyone who doesn't know, 1.7 Update is not out yet, that is only on console. They are working on releasing the 1.7 Update after or before the DLC expansion.
What do you mean doesn't work with partiality? After you've applied the mods it doesn't seem like you need to actually try to launch the game through steam when prompted, you can just run the exe and at least the mod config settings from partiality mods correctly show up in the game.
Did you download an exe file? When opening the exe, did you get a rar file, or am I missing something? If the above is true, you downloaded an ad, make sure you get the correct file.
i start the game it asks for input (keyboard/xbox/ps4 controller) and when i select one (i tried all 3, i have both controllers), it makes a weird beeb sound and freezes and stops working...

mods slightly make it easier but still hard af
Also it only changes some ending cutscenes so you could easly look it up if you want.
If it doesn't work mark them all and extract them simultaneously.
