Im trying to get it to play with my vive and when I add the -vr- steamvr it opens in vr but it thinks my knees are my feet and I cannot see my controllers. I can use my controllers to move forward and back ward but I cannot use them to push buttons or anything. Any help?
First make a shortcut from PA_UE4.exe to your desktop (or whatever location)
Right click the desktop link and go to properties and then add -vr -steamvr to the target location for me it looks like "Y:\Paranormal Activity\PA_UE4.exe" -vr -steamvr
I have to give you guys a heads up. you can play VR games from Steam and Oculus on you phone! You can use your phone as a headset! Check out Riftcat...
Why do most of these VR games not load? I have an HTC Vive and I cannot get this game to load up. It crashes right when I click the Launcher.exe. If I click the PA_UE4.exe then nothing happens. This same thing happens for most VR games uploaded on this website.
This game doesn't work. I dunno what is wrong, maybe it has to have VR. If I could afford VR though, I wouldn't be downloading free games here. I start the game, it looks like it is loading with the PA splash screen, then it is just a black box that sits there forever. Don't bother.
Reading the comments before downloading, I didn't (and don't) see anyone that said it would not play without VR so I wanted to give it a shot anyways. The title and most of the description doesn't even mention VR except one sentence, which is also why I tried it despite obviously not having VR. Min & Rec Specs also say nothing about needing VR, again, thought I would try it. Obviously it did not work for me so others (majority of people) who do not have VR, will read my comment and (hopefully) will know it won't work for them.

Tiago, go comment on people that say on every gaime it doesnt work, it gets this and that error...Those are the idiots. But in this case, Almost nobody can asume it is only VR.
VR games qualify as games I guess. I sure won't complain. Besides I like to try before I buy I work hard for my money like most people so I do appreciate these donations. Many thanks to IGG-games for ALL of the games they share with the community.
the hole series is a joke, with the 1st movie being the worst as every "plot terror" was revealed literary the last 5 minutes of the movie...Waiting 99% of the movie duration for something to happen. HOWEVER the hole movie series sucks, but if u watch it alone at night with lights closed i ensure u 100% of u being frightened (=afraid=shit ur pants) and keep looking at ur back every now and then. I just didnt like the ending of the final movie... It became too much sci-fi which is against the original senario.
I might be thinking about a different film but in the first one, wasn't there a short clip they watched on a laptop where a possessed woman apparently ate most of her arm while restrained. <---That's kinda creepy. (The rest was total crap though so that means 1/157 minutes were good)
