Unfortunately this is another one of those games that is made so realistic that it isn't worth playing. Don't waste your time with this game. It has a poor design and you can't add certain rooms without adding a bunch of other things first. Warnings all over the place with no help.
Both games seem pretty descent but Airport CEO is still in alfa and offers less content today, so i would this one, after when both games will be fully released, i don't know...
Hello, I downloaded the game, unrar-ed and booted it up. Starts loading and when its done it gives the game screen for less then 1 second and closes itself. How can i actually play the game?
64 bit program, buy a new computer because that piece of junk (i say that because you have 32-bit and they were generally pretty crap by today's standards) your using probably wouldn't run it anyways.
Hi! I use Windows 7 32-bit and it told me to check my windows version. I saw the comments below saying it can be played with 32-bit version of windows. How do I fix this problem exactly?
Downloaded and tested the latest update (Update Oct 06, 2017) and it works fine without any changes, running through LAUNCHER_x64.exe. Just make sure you actually extract the files somewhere first before running it or the game won't run.
when i open the launcher it says that its unable to launch the game and to make sure that startin and target point to correct path and folder. Please help
For people that have problems with running SimAirport (Aug 14, 2017 version)
Extract the game like normal
In the game folder, go into the 'SmartSteamEmu' folder and delete the 'Plugins' folder.
Run the Launcher.exe or Launcher_x64.exe depending on your Windows version. It should take a little bit to load but shouldn't crash Note: Make sure you are running the game as admin. Edited with new fix for Aug 14, 2017 version.
Okay, found the fix. In the SimAirport folder, go into the folder 'SmartSteamEmu' and delete the 'Plugin' folder.Then you can run it through Launcher.exe or Launcher_x64.exe. It should take a little bit to load but shouldn't crash. Let me know if that fixes it for you.
Okay, I just tested my method using steam_appid.txt and running the game as admin. I successfully opened the game, saved, quit the game, opened the game again and loaded the test save without crashing once. So please try running the game as admin.
For the newer Aug 14 update, use the fix I posted above. This one is old.

Copy and paste the following: Launcher.exe, LAUNCHER_x64.exe, SmartSteamEmu.dll, SmartSteamEmu64.dll, SmartSteamEmu.ini and the SmartSteamEmu folder into the SimAirport folder.
Follow Gab's instructions from the featured comment. Open SmartSteamEmu.ini On the Target line you'll see .exe, change it to SimAirport.exe A little bit bellow, put 480 for AppId Start the game with the LAUNCHER That should fix the problem with Steam launching.
Hmmm...I just remove the Featured Comment, it was for an older version, this one work fine only with the .exe, i just tested it. Maybe the game work like you explain but i'm pretty sure it can cause some error at some point. I think you should Edit or remove your comment. I saw other people saying that's how they got it to work in the usual forum. Also, do you have Steam installed? I'm wondering why it keeps launching Steam for me when not using SSE.
Well, when a game don't need SSE, it can cause some bugs, like freezing when exiting and who knows, maybe game braking bugs too but i never experience that(i don't play enough). Yeah, i don't have Steam install and if i look at the comments, you must close it to be able to run this game.

They're freezing for me sometimes when building the walls they seem to get stuck in them but saving and loading seems to work for now but it is annoying.
very easy fix edit SmartSteamEmu ini to start in (Whatever directory your game is) and target the SimAirport.exe then maybe you don't have to do this but set AppID to 480 or similar

Do I really have to explain what a false positive is? The method used to crack games is similar to the method used to code malware! Anti-virus programs will detect the crack as a virus and delete it, even though it isn’t! :)
Nothing on this site has ever caused problems for me or as far as i know anyone else. What exactly is your software saying? could you send a screenshot please? It may be just that its warning you to the fact that; because its a zipped file it cannot view the contents within and therefore poses a threat as it "may" contain a virus as far as your soft ware is concerned (hope that helps)
what do you mean by did you crack the game isn't the game cracked already ? i mean there is no folder called crack so i assumed it's cracked already, and yes Launcher file exist if that what you are asking for
igg will probably be updating this game daily... seems like thats as fast as the dev is putting them out. another stonehearth in terms of updates it seems. XD

I mean you have to build stuff in order to be successful, you need to hire staff to run everything, and you get different kinds of reports based on how well your airport is doing. I think in its setup it is A LOT like that other tycoon game: another brick in the wall, where you need to make a mall from the ground up. The art style is pretty much identical. But also, from the looks of things they were not kidding with the early access banner on steam. It is buggy as hell, lots of things and objects are missing, and i have yet to see an actual airplane land or take off after more than 30 minutes of playing....

I got the game to work. Just follow these steps:
