yes, i reported the mistake in the request-upload forum a few days ago, and someone said it would be corrected but has not been. maybe they too busy to correct mistake, or maybe it is even is a practical joke? Anyway, Age of Rivals is a very good game if you like this kind of card game. I play it on my android tablet. I can now beat the computer every time with it playing on its hard level, so I am losing some interest in the game. Once you recognize a pattern for success, the re-playability is not as satisfying. It would be a very good physical card game but the "temporary effects" would have to be simplified because right now, those temp effects (how one card boosts another card(s) during each round of play) would be unwieldy without a computer keeping track of all of them and executing them automatically.
yes, that is good option for those with frequent internet access, but for those of us with limited availability of internet and need to use offline, that website is not option.
Hmmm you have to register to something to be able to play it... Is it properly cracked? Edit: Apparently, it's a free game on Kongregate? But a Steam version was released too... But both need you to register to Kongregate, it seems... Hmmm I'll pass, I don't like to register to anything. XD
Ok. I just pulled the game from archives. Extract the RAR obviously. In the next level folder, you should find the "AgeOfRivalsWindowsSteam.exe" file. Double click on this (or right click and run as admin). At this point, the game should execute. ---I shouldn't have been so quick to say "skip". By skip, I meant, "shove FAKE information in the fields just to get around the register screen". I digress.--- Back to the instructions, you should see at this point a screen with 'Register' and 'Login'. Use 'Register'. Put information - FAKE information - into these fields. ---This is done NOT to contact Steam (it's cracked) but so your fake "account" is stored on your computer (no cloud saving here - this is a cracked copy after all).--- When this is done and you submit, the game should begin. There is only AI here - nothing LAN or MP. That's really it. The process is simply to extract and execute, then fill in fake info to create an "account" on your box and then play. You should not have to enter your credentials again - but JUST in case - make note of them.
