Anyone know how can I continue my legal Steam save? I played during the free weekend and now I want to keep playing, but even if I get the cracked game to recognize the save file, it doesn't recognize me as the original player. Instead, it forces me to create a new character. I can visit my old house and see my original character sleeping on the ground, but I can't claim anything or take anything from him, so it's pointless to even continue in the same world. Is there any way to "force" my legal Steam id into the craked game?

It is attempting to open the process ConanSandbox-Win64-Test.exe, which does not exist in the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Conan Exiles Architects of Argos\ConanSandbox\Binaries\Win64. I fixed the issue by not using the installed shortcut or opening the ConanSandbox.exe within the base directory, but instead manually going to C:\Games\Conan Exiles Architects of Argos\ConanSandbox\Binaries\Win64 and opening ConanSandbox.exe (around 87MB) in said folder. Of course now the game starts, but not a single button in the main menu, except for "Exit" and "Mods", works. Only an error message about functions being disabled when offline appears. So not even playable in singleplayer- not to mention multiplayer.

btw, to save time, it is possible to JUST use part 1 and leave it there, just open part one, open iso, move setup.bin somewhere accessable and run setup.exe, after it installs, open codex folder in the iso and move the stuff in there where it belongs, then make a shortcut of conansandbox.exe and run from there, works perfectly, only problem is it's not updated sadly or that's what it seems like atleast. i may be wrong, but the other parts might just be useless, or they could be updates _('')/(dollar store shrug)

Dynamic-link library or DLL is in every programm/game folder. It's only for programms so no need to do anything it needs just to be in the game folder. Antivirus are tricky they will always take false virus for those cracked files. Disable during the install or when you have the game folder open.

Revolt didn't crack shit. The last playable pirated version of this was put out by CODEX. All Revolt did was make a steamworks fix so you could play it with friends.

You need to create another computer account and try to play the game in that account. BUT important thing is you must only use english letters in your account's name.
the game saves automatically how far did you play? every time you change something in the game folder(copy to diffrent location or add new crack) old save games won't work....

Its Just me or the DLCs arent working? you enter the game and it say they were purchased, you then go to actually play the game, your character has the right level, the points to unlock the blueprints but you cant unlock the DLC stuff no matter what, giving the items with Dmin menu doesnt work either. Then you go back to the main game menu and check the DLCs and it no longer says they were purchased. is anyone having this issue as well?
FIX FOR FATAL ERROR Basicly windows defender is blocking steamclient64.dll as it see's it as a virus/malware w/e. It isn't (just fyi) SO what you need to do is disable widows defender realtime scanning Steps: 1.Open Windows Defender Security Center. 2.Click on Virus & threat protection. 3.Click the Virus & threat protection settings option. 4.Turn off the Real-time protection toggle switch. THEN Copy over steamclient64.dll to Games\Conan Exiles\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv138a\Win64 Load it up and it should work!
Not all games work that way, and this doesn't appear to be one of the ones that does. And even if it was, the game was only just cracked. The DLC crack that allows them to be added to the paid game may not have been created yet, and on top of that, it might not even be uploaded here at all. You might have to look somewhere else

There is a couple of servers you can join or you can create your own (if you open some ports), but I haven't figured out how to invite a friend to the coop mode. Steam invite doesn't seem to do anything
I think there are one group that use crack server unless they shut it down. You have to download their crack version to make it work. I haven't play it since there was only 5 people was on it few months ago.

The Steam Account & the Conan Game should be in the same directory.. My Steam was in C Drive and the game was in D drive.. that's why it didn't work at first. I uninstalled Steam and re-installed steam in my D drive this time and run as admin for game at D:\Conan RAR files\Conan.Exiles.Build.17925\Conan.Exiles\ConanSandbox\Binaries\Win64 look for the exe file.. run it as admin and it works like a charm.. I learned something new today.. PS: Create new Steam account just in case it gets ban.. Happy Gaming.. Cheers !
What? Thats not true! It doesnt matter where your steam is installed! I have steam installed in one drive (not even the main one which is an SSD exclusively used for the OS) and the game in another drive, and it works just fine! The only thing you really have to do, is to have steam running in the background before running the game (the game ask you to run it in administrator mode and to have steam on) or else it wont let you play it. And I have played it using my main steam account for solid 2 weeks now and still no ban (hell, Im even using mods!).

download all 7 file and place on one folder all off them. extract rar no.1 and install... mount .iso the game and put crack on it then paste on directory game (right click game on your desktop choose open file location and then paste the crack)

You need to crack it by copying the files in the crack folder and then pasting it in the game folder. Also make sure you have DirectX installed (although I'm pretty sure that this isn't the problem).

Weird, I also have the free Avira and doesnt do that! But you should know that it sometimes marks a file as a false positive (it once marked its own update file as a virus,quarantining its own files. It was hilarious but they resolved it using a quick update)

Your antivirus removed 1 of the 2 steamapi files required to play multiplayer. Multiplayer works online with this version with other people still playing this version.
Is there a way to get this to properly work when steam is in offline mode? I just get the session initilization error and I'd rather not play while in online mode. Reason being it's sketchy and I just want a couple hours of gameplay to decide if I want to buy the game through steam. Edit: I should add that I do this with several games I get from here, not to justify it but if there isn't a demo I don't want to waste money.
I'm pretty sure all cracked versions of a game cannot be played in multiplayer. I have seen multiplayer cracks for playing a game with other people as long as they have it too.

I found out how to fix it. You can find steam_api64.dll in the part 1 winrar file so if you can exract that specific if you turn off antivirus. Before you turn antivirus on again, you need to go in settings and set the steam file as an exception so your antivirus don't delete it instantly. It took me one day of trying and experimenting so i hope i was able to help ^^
Uninstall game. turn anti virus off, windows firewall, and defender off, then Start again from the very beginning. Let me know if you get it to work this way.

Hello, I'm having some trouble launching the game. When I try to launch it with administrator permissions i get the following error: { Steam is not running. In order to play the game with our fix, you need steam running in the background. If you are scared that you might get banned, create a new empty account and play with it! } I'd like to clarify a few things first:

I am logged in to steam.
I have not yet relogged into my steam account.
It is not installed in my steam libraries folder. Does anyone know a fix for this issue? I'm verifying the last two points right now. Edit* Point 3 does not change the outcome.
It's placed on my D: Drive.
Even adding it to my steam library does not fix the problem.
I have the Conan.Exiles folder placed in a secondary drive as well and it works for me.
Don't need to put it in any Steam folders or library list at all, just be signed in to Steam.
My Steam is installed on my secondary drive as well.
I run the game by making a shortcut to Conan.Exiles\ConanSandbox\Binaries\Win64\ConanSandbox.exe and then opening the shortcut as administrator.
Make sure steam_api64.dll hasn't been deleted from Conan.Exiles\ConanSandbox\Binaries\Win64\ConanSandbox.exe by your antivirus Not sure if any of these affect your issue, but hopefully it helps.
I have found the problem. The program "Revolt" believes the steam directory to be somewhere else. I cannot find the way to override the location in the config file though. Anyone got an idea of where to find it? If it is in the config file after all, a picture would be appreciated.
Yes, it is safe to do so. It allows the game to write save files, and without it, the game would only be able to read them. That's my best explanation.
Hello, can a moderator/admin recheck the game files? I generally do multiple antivirus scans on anything I download, even if I do trust the source, I know that false positive do exists for some stuff, but in this case it is heavy suspicion of a real trojan. Please check "steam_api64.dll". It needs administrative permission to be opened or dragged on a website for checking. Haven't started the game yet, tried to upload these 2 DLL files on virus total, it says impossible as it needs administrative permission to be opened. Hello, Usually Steam_api64.dll has modified code in it to supplement the crack. However, by doing this, antiviruses don't like it and try to delete it/quarantine it. I have no idea if the antiviruses are working against piracy in some way, but that's usually what happens.

Oh, by the way, I figured out how to transfer a character from one account to another. So first download something called "DB browser for SQL Lite" You'll need this to open the DB file. Go to your Conan file/ConanSandbox/Saved. Open DB Browser and paste this directory. You want to open Game.db. Once inside, you'll see a few tabs. Browse data being one of them. On this tab will be a dropdown called "Account" The value in these boxes is the steam64 of the accounts you have. Now, go to characters. In the playerID is this exact same value. Your goal is to grab your steam64 from the new account and paste it over the playerID field of your old account. Save it, and if you've done it all correctly, you should log into your character on your new account. This is useful if you're dumb like me and used your main to play for an hour or two.
No, you won't get banned. Valve doesn't care about that, even if you play "cracked valve games". As long as you don't try to activate illegal keys on steam, they're not even look at you if you're playing Spacewars. Also, if you want to be completely sure, look at their rules and guidelines. That screen is telling me that you re trying to invite him while in the main menu ermm. You should invite while playing(suppose you already tried) At this point you should try everything can t tell what problem you have (it s on your side and/or your friend) Try with normal names (only letters ) Or run solo/co-op and while in-game invite him or tell your friend to join (if he click on you in steam he should see "join" like you do for inviting)
No, i've always used my account If you want to play alone you can make a new account anyway Or if there is a way to connect via IP/or joining a server through the conan server list (probably you ll need hamachi to be able to see that server) you can use a new account too Telling you that because you can t add friends with a new steam account (without a purchased game) And you need the friend list to join/invite unless there is another way as i said (connect via IP or join a server )
We just tried changing our nicknames, same message, we tried with Hamachi, nothing either... And there is no "Join" button when my friend is in play and vice versa

It doesn't work in offline mode though. However, there is a "offline mod" in steam that can allow single player without the error that keeps showing after starting up single player. However, that will require the actual steam version of the game.

There doesn't seem to be much interest from any of the torrent sites to release a proper, installable version of this game. I've downloaded this game a few different times now, from a few different sources, and none have had an installer attached. The way it's being shared by the few who barely give a shit is the same way pirated games came out waaaaaaaaaay back in the day, and I don't care for clunky, buggy gameplay. This game isn't worth the trouble. I have tons of other games to play, and perhaps I'll eventually just buy it from g2a when it gets down to $5.
If you have so much time you can search and learn how to make a custom installer. Really its not such big deal and it doesnt need you to be a nuclear scientist to be able to do it. Youtube and Google are your friends in these situations. :)

well...do as told.. download and install C++ 2015 32 or 64 bits depending on ur system and install it... and this game comes preinstalled... extract it and run conansandbox.exe
All loading times are so slow that it's unplayable, even on a recent gaming computer. I'll wait until it's muuuuuch better optimized. (02.02.2017 version)
would anybody be willing to help me out. i downloaded all parts. started extracting, and it tells me i am missing a volume (17) and i need to extract it first. i then do that and it pulls out the application but whenever i start it it says there is a problem and it wont continue. any recommendations or help would be appreciated!

if you downloaded half of the parts and the download links go down you have them on PC and you can wait for them to come back up and you don't have to download from the beggining,and there's alot of servers in case 1 part is broken,with the torrent you don't know for sure if its gonna stop and if it does you have to download everything from the beggining

Game would have been nice if you could play it single game mode instead of hosting a server in order to do so. The latency problem is legendary both on coop and multiplayer mode. This definitely is a turn off. While the game in itself is similar to Ark in several key elements, the stability is questionable. Hopefully, with more content added, it will turn into something a game should be for the fans in the genre. IGG Thanks for the up.
Ricardo, the whole point I made is about the importance of stability of a game even without much content to go with. Gamers will appreciate to being able to play a game even if it's an early release stage without the fuss of having to deal with hosting a server in order to play it thus the latency issue.
Game runs till you try to join a server or host your own. Then you get a black screen with wonderful music. If you hit Esc you'll hear a shuffle, once.
to play co op YOU AND THE PERSON have to have this version of the game you create a game and let him/her join via lan :) beyond that you cant unless you pay for it
Actually you start steam and run the game. Your friend has to do the same. Then you create a co-op game and as soon as you are in the game you invite your friend via escape - invite friends then you can go on and play. But I wouldn't recommend playing co-op since that game has a tether distance which means you can barely walk like 100 meters away from your friend without automatically pulling him to you...
That’s why IGG use “repair damaged achieve” in Winrar and all the achieves, run it and rename it afterwards.... no need to download the whole 990mb achieve again. I did it many times; hope it works for U in future.

IGG didn't crack it, the conan exiles developers team uploaded and made available a no denuvo game version and people downloaded it before they could take it offline and change it.

I've seen hours of gameplay, and I've heard there will be magic added and more, can't wait It's like Ark, that it's a build a base survival, but not much else. It's like saying this is Minecraft or something.

Just for those that are wondering why this game was uploaded. The developers released an update and somehow forgot to put denuvo in it, so this version does not have denuvo, however, shortly after they released a hotfix fixing the issue, so the current steam version does have denuvo still and they will continue to have denuvo on their game, not that it matters when denuvo is getting cracked left and right so you might see it cracked in the future. As for me, I rather just buy it later on when/if they fully release it out of early access if it ends up being good. Only problem with this game is that singleplayer mode forces up a local server, it's not really singleplayer, you're just hosting a server for yourself.

I fixed the issue by not using the installed shortcut or opening the ConanSandbox.exe within the base directory, but instead manually going to C:\Games\Conan Exiles Architects of Argos\ConanSandbox\Binaries\Win64 and opening ConanSandbox.exe (around 87MB) in said folder.
Of course now the game starts, but not a single button in the main menu, except for "Exit" and "Mods", works. Only an error message about functions being disabled when offline appears.
So not even playable in singleplayer- not to mention multiplayer.

Basicly windows defender is blocking steamclient64.dll as it see's it as a virus/malware w/e. It isn't (just fyi)
SO what you need to do is disable widows defender realtime scanning
Steps:
1.Open Windows Defender Security Center.
2.Click on Virus & threat protection.
3.Click the Virus & threat protection settings option.
4.Turn off the Real-time protection toggle switch.
THEN Copy over steamclient64.dll to Games\Conan Exiles\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv138a\Win64
Load it up and it should work!

I uninstalled Steam and re-installed steam in my D drive this time and run as admin for game at
D:\Conan RAR files\Conan.Exiles.Build.17925\Conan.Exiles\ConanSandbox\Binaries\Win64
look for the exe file.. run it as admin and it works like a charm..

Before you turn antivirus on again, you need to go in settings and set
the steam file as an exception so your antivirus don't delete it

Usually Steam_api64.dll has modified code in it to supplement the crack. However, by doing this, antiviruses don't like it and try to delete it/quarantine it. I have no idea if the antiviruses are working against piracy in some way, but that's usually what happens.
So first download something called "DB browser for SQL Lite" You'll need this to open the DB file.
Go to your Conan file/ConanSandbox/Saved. Open DB Browser and paste this directory. You want to open Game.db. Once inside, you'll see a few tabs. Browse data being one of them. On this tab will be a dropdown called "Account" The value in these boxes is the steam64 of the accounts you have. Now, go to characters. In the playerID is this exact same value. Your goal is to grab your steam64 from the new account and paste it over the playerID field of your old account. Save it, and if you've done it all correctly, you should log into your character on your new account. This is useful if you're dumb like me and used your main to play for an hour or two.
Valve doesn't care about that, even if you play "cracked valve games".
As long as you don't try to activate illegal keys on steam, they're not even look at you if you're playing Spacewars. Also, if you want to be completely sure, look at their rules and guidelines. You won't find anything about that.

4- invited my friend through steam overlay

At this point you should try everything can t tell what problem you have (it s on your side and/or your friend)
Try with normal names (only letters )
Or run solo/co-op and while in-game invite him or tell your friend to join (if he click on you in steam he should see "join" like you do for inviting)
If you want to play alone you can make a new account anyway
Or if there is a way to connect via IP/or joining a server through the conan server list (probably you ll need hamachi to be able to see that server) you can use a new account too
Telling you that because you can t add friends with a new steam account (without a purchased game)
And you need the friend list to join/invite unless there is another way as i said (connect via IP or join a server )
