This game requires that Steam be uninstalled or otherwise modified separately to work, as the game itself is not fully cracked. Do let me know if this is fixed, as I want to play this, but I'm not gonna re-mod and un-mod my Steam every time I launch it.
This could be case of SteamEmu not triggering when called to launch a cracked game. I read about it somewhere sometime ago. All I had to do to play this game was un-RAR and click on the EXE. It's a fun little game with its focus being on mouse gymnastics (semi-twitch).
Not calling your honesty into question but I don't see how this can work for one person and not for another with such a simple installation process. Would be different if there was an error associated with it. But there's not. So far 4 people list the same problem while 1 says it working. I would say this isn't working unless proven otherwise.
...but you are. I understand what you are saying but also understand there likely are plenty of people playing the game with no problems and therefore have no need to post their experiences here. The chances that it can work for one and not for others can be great due to dependencies and the like. For instance, I do not have Steam installed at all. What box config does everyone have? OS? Drivers? I tested it. It works. I'm not saying it works for everyone but I still stand by what I posted because, well, it works. Well now that i've seen some screen caps that definitely helps. Can't believe everything you read online. :P Also now that you mentioned you do not have steam installed, I'm wondering if that is maybe the issue here. Will uninstall steam and try again hopefully with better luck. Will update for others having issues if I have any success.
The game is working. The issue is having steam installed. But rather than uninstall it just navigate to your Steam installation directory and change the steam.exe file to steam_.exe. When starting the program it will not activate the steam.exe due to the filename difference. The game will start up without issue. :) Thanks to riffelj for letting me know that he did not have steam installed with his working copy. Would not have solved it without his help. Cheers everyone!
The new game called Ellipsis doesnt work. it openes the menu and when i press Start game it opens Steam.
