Oh my goodness. Ok, so for anyone who is on windows 10 and the problem where a black window opens then closes after a few seconds, here's how I finally got it to work:
Type "Control panel" in the search bar and open it
Find the title "Clock and region" and click on the blue text under it that reads "Change date, time or number formats"
Go to the "Administrative" tab
Click the button that says "Change system locale..."
Select Japanese (Japan) from the drop-down menu and click OK
Restart your computer I had changed the region from the settings app but that didn't do anything. I also still have my language set as English but I do have the japanese language pack installed just in case. If this doesn't work I would try installing that first. I followed these steps after the game was patched and cracked so you shouldn't need to reinstall it.

Can somebody please help me? I have a problem with crack. Even thou I changed my location to Japan before I started instalization, I still have just a black window for few second until it drops. I have also tried chanding the location and restarting the computer several times. Any other tips? Please, this is the only website that seems to have the english version.

can't seem to get the loading screen (where you choose a route) to work. the opening video works, and then i click enter and the beep goes through and i hear the song play but still a black screen. In case your wondering im using windows 10 and everything is updated.
can someone help me.. i downloaded all the things, including daemon tool, i followed the instruction video.. but when i tried to run the crack app, it showed the black window and it closed.. please help me, i want to play this so badly :(
Sorry but in the instructions for the installation called "DMMdrc-How to start", appears as an step an order that says to us to "Install the game from cd image" and there is no cd image in my folders when I finshed the extractions from the rar archives. How can I solve this problem?
How do I save ingame? And when starting the game, I was given a choice to do After Works Drawing Sky or New Game. Which should I choose first? Is the After Works like a part 1 of the story?

Hi, I downloaded the files and followed all of the steps, but when I try to launch the crack version it gives me a black window like in the video that proceeds to close a few moments after. What can I do to fix this? I'm on windows 10 if that helps.
umm I think I had the same problem and it was about my local settings and which link did you use? Try running SdActi.exe. You don't need to fill it in, just run it then close it and try the crack again.
I'd used both the google drive and mega links, and i did that because parts 2 and 4 wouldn't download from the google drive link. I'm thinking that may have been an issue and am redownloading parts 1 and 3 with the mega links. Thank you in advance for the suggestions if the issue still persists

if running SdActi.exe didn't solve the problem, then I don't know either :( okay, which version of windows are you using? did you download the game with one link or multiple links? have you set your locale to Japan? and one more thing, my files were on my desktop but when I tried to move my files from my desktop to another file, I couldn't open the game then I returned my game files to my desktop and it worked. maybe you should put it on your desktop or maybe you shouldn't change the game's first location? try both I hope this will help :')

I actually tried to download this game long time ago, but it's so hard n idk what to do so i gave up n i watched the game in youtube.. but now i really want to play the game by myself so that's why i'm really trying so hard to play this .. wish me luck :3

tbh i never play DRAMAtical murder.. i watched all the walkthrough in youtube bcs the game didn't want to run. I watched from Koujako route until the twins route. Reconnect is actually the sequel from the first, n the scene is really full of NC actually :3 there's good n bad route in every character route.. n i guess i remember all the story from the first until the NC scenes, but now i just want to play it by myself :D n also i will watch the anime of DRAMAtical Murder soon :3 Sometimes i'm afraid of myself by being fujoshi :"
Haha, don't be afraid it's natural 👌 I still recommend you to play the dmmd before reconnect but if you insist... Aaand the anime was total trash It's not worth to watch it except the OVA lol
