No real reason to do so. No real significance except display options and a couple of fixes for very small bugs (achievements). Besides, usually the Russians are super anal about this kind of update - and no major group has released it.
The dev turn this game into a Turn based RPG? I thought they continue to make Mindy's Arc Part 2 (you know that Plant vs Zombie esque game). I'm gonna try and give this game a go.
That's Sakura games for ya. I don't know why they even bother to try their hands at RPGs, they're obviously terrible at them. But hey, there's always somebody ready to love their flawed games, I mean where else could they be getting their funding from? lol
