When i first sore this game i thought it looked gorgeous so i got it. now I've played through the whole game with almost 100% and man was it a pleasure to play, this game is mainly/only for people who like solving moving block puzzles, sure there is a bit of combat especially with the bosses. so if you're into that kind of game i highly recommend it to you.
i don't know if this will help but it sounds like it's not cracked properly. once i downloaded the game i extracted the folder and you should see this inside (i'm using a 64 bit computer) you should just open the LAUNCHER.exe and wait for 1minute until the title screen comes in (you might want to click on the logo and press space so the game knows you're in). other than that I don't know why you're having problems? sorry if this isn't much help :( (oh and your computer's firewall might ask if you want to have this ID2.exe to run or not, just say you'll allow it)
