How come this game requires the both internet shortcuts and the text document in order to run? It displays some sort of popup without them and doesn't run.
Just an FYI. The images show it in full color but this download is the Halloween update which makes the game all yellow which is extremely annoying when you start playing. Makes it hard to see objects hidden in plain sight.

Hello Neighbor was NOT developed using Unity but was developed using Unreal Engine, you can look in the source files that there are traces of the Unreal Engine in it. Also the modding kit for the game requires Unreal Engine and not Unity.
Might as well check if you're running it with integrated graphics, go to your nvidia (or amd) control panel and configure settings for this application. Its a common problem with most games.
It's not made for 32bit. 64bit only. Better upgrade though, as games these days are migrating to 64bit. You know, due to 4gigs minimum system requirement :P ps: 32bit can only handle 4gigs RAM tops. So if a game need 4Gigs minimum, you can be sure it needs 64bit.

Yea.. not so much. I haven't been able to do it since and it makes me think I may have been seeing things the time I saw it lol. I've done 50+ runs on this game at this point. I've got my path down to the point I can clear it in under 13 minutes of the Neighbor plays nice. (my video for that will be going up on youtube in just a couple days lol)
I have the actual game from steam itself and it's the same way. It's a bug with the save file, you have to go to C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\HelloNeighbor and delete everything in that file, and as long as you do 1 full setting and without restarting or saving and quitting, you may get the door. (from my experience anyway. I had the door after deleting everything on my 29 minute run, but I got stuck in the pipe leading up and had to choose restart from the menu, the door was bugged after that. This is a known bug of the game and the dev actually leaves a read me on how to fix any bugs like that, and it mentions what I did above.
re read what I said, especially the "you may get the door" part. I have beat this beta 12 runs at this point and I've only once seen the door, and it was doing what I stated above. Deleting that folder hasn't worked since though unfortunately. The way the door is bugged is it's actually there, but up a lot higher than you can get, you have to use a trainer to actually get to the door if you're bugged.
I'm the same as you, I want the ending without cheating and I know it's possible, you just need some extreme luck. The main reason I want the ending without cheating is just so I can be one of the few people that actually has it on their youtube channel. Thankfully I can beat it within 30 minutes, but even still, bugged door after bugged door wears on you eventually.
Hey there FocusToLL, sorry the game does not have 32bit version. You know, since the RAM needed is 6GB. Maximum RAM a 32Bit system can handle is 4GB. So yeah, next time when you see a game with 5GB+ RAM requirement you will know that it's for 64Bit only. Hope that helps!

Game works fine, lots of bugs/glitches. When almost reach the final (the exit door), after pulling nail from the wood and scan the blue card to the door, sometimes door won't open, It just stuck. And then, sometimes it opened and when enter the door, it repeats, it's like the game got no ending cause of the bug/glitch.
9 month ago the game started and now it’s still Beta ..... so it will take another 2 or 5 years to complete the game in full not like Like Doom or Shadow warrior....unreal???????????
Can't complain about this game, it was pretty good starting off. It is going downhill slowly (since they promised a stealthy-horror with loads of content) but its free on here so what could go wrong? If you don't like this game get off the page :p jk
All parts added 3-5% recovery, so it will cant corrupted, BTW many people downloaded and played it without problems now. You need assure that all parts are same name and same size (Only last part smaller size). If you can, I hope you will upload image your folder where your .rar files downloaded, we will view it and help you easier ;)
I downloaded a million IGG games from IGG.Com and hundreds of them had CRC errors, Thank God http://IGG.com put a recovery record in each of them and I could at least recover 98 % of them all and thats allot....... Use recovery method......
You should put your game's dir in short path, example: C:\game. Dont put it in long path. BTW, if you still got this problem, try turn off your AV and Firewall before extract too. Enjoy ;)

first of all please better gamma next time. did you press the left/right or middle mouse in the game? (try all three) if still nothing then the mouse isn't connected to the game somehow (you'll need to figure that part out on your own) to delete the game you right click and then click on delete, or drag and drop the folder into your recycling bin. if still unable (which is odd so you might have a virus) remove parts of the game inside the folder it's in (better with more space than nothing) i can't help you any further cause your wording is a bit confusing to figure out on it's own.
In every game you have to download all of the parts to work. If there are 2 parts you have to download both. Then when they are ready, you go to the folder of the first part, and you extract. :)
just tell him to buy you an online game or something like, idk Overwatch, Battlefield, Destiny, etc. since you practically need legit versions to actually enjoy those games

dude...there is no virus as ive downloaded the game myself and also installed it. Baidu is actually a search engine popular in China (after all its a chinese search engine). And knowing its a chinese thing..you porbably downloaded something else that came with the file. Perhaps an installer and you didnt bother to check what it will install on your pc. Aaaaaand being one the fallen victims (the thing is just annyoing, resets your settings on your browser etc), a bit of googling is more than enough to get rid of it. So yep..
