This folder here when you mounted the downloaded file contains the cracked folders, and you have to apply them manually by copy and pasting them to the game's main folder that you installed to. You also have to mark them as exceptions in your antivirus, because it's absolutely certain that they'll get flagged as "viruses" because cracked Steam.api files will always register a false positive. If you don't mark them as exceptions, they'll automatically get pushed out and give you the Steam error.

Use a program such as Daemon Tools, create a virtual drive through that, mount the cue or bin file (I forgot which) onto the virtual drive in Daemon Tools, and open the file explorer of the file through that program, it should come with a "crack" folder inside too, if not, then it doesnt need one..
