For those complaining about Mafia 3 not working Your PC needs to be able to support sse4 If it does you need to head over to CommonRedist and install all the files in it If you have all these you probably only need ot change resolution If you dont have any of these you gotta wait and pray they make a patch so you dont need sse4 support :D 3
Why is this game lagging so much on my Laptop. I have an ASUS GL552VW Core i7 6700HQ Quad Core Processor 2.6 GHZ, 16GB RAM DDR4 and 4GB VRAM GDDR5 Nvidia GTX960M. I am able to play most games at High Settings in 1920x1080 at solid 30+ FPS, games like: The Witcher 3, Far Cry 4, GTA V, Arkham Knight, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, MGSV: Phantom Pain, NBA 2K17, Rise of the Tomb Raider etc. ,and some Games like Fallout 4 even at ULTRA Settings, but Mafia 3 lags so much it only goes up to 15 FPS on my laptop at high settings. Is it my PC's fault, or the Games for not being optimized. Is this game so much graphically demanding?! I hope that someone can help me up with this question. Thanks in Advance.
I got maybe an hour in and I quit. Maybe the 60 fps patch will bring me back but I just hate how you can shoot someone in the chest a few times and they still won't be dead.
Mafia III is running normal, but is full of bugs, not body collects on the floor and not active intelligent view, apart from that I'm playing all the normal
i downloaded codex crack and past to folder game.... not working changed in file SMARTSTEAMLOADER.INI .... not working any more help ? PS ...i think i know why not working for me :( i read the game not working on Phenom CPU and i have this CPU i hope they will fix this.

MGSV is ridiculously optimized and this game is not and is also locked at 30 fps. Really depends on your specs because like I said, a lot of computers can play mgsv it's easy
For all the people that think to waste their time downloading this:
THE CRACK MAY NOT BE WORKING! Wait for a more proper crack to come out, this is a day 1 crack, so please be patient and wait a few days.
THE FPS IS CAPPED TO 30! Thats the second reason to not download the game right now. Take2 already said that they are working on a patch, thats gonna get cap the fps to 60(or maybe even fully unlock it) and its gonna be released probably this weekend or the next week. P.S. I wanna point out, that I havent downloaded the game, so I dont know if the crack is working or not. Just a lot of ppl are saying, that it doesnt.
I don't get it. "You maybe doesn't even have a pc that can handle 60fps". Are you implying my that pc could not run the game on 60 fps? If, so look up on steam reviews where almost 90% of people are raving about the game having 30 fps locked issue. Heck, there's people on this website talking about the 30 fps locked issue aswell.
-- Eeh, Probably Shaders, DirectX Tweaks (rather good or bad) & Particle Effects. That aside, there is also Texture Resolution.. many seems to be pushing 2k or 4k textures.. recently. So graphics might be the same, poly kount, etc.. but that xtra ish will drain frame rates quite quick. -- Other then that, release date is almost moot as some games go into production 10 years+ before they actually kome out. Crysis, Unreal, Doom3, Quake still retain the test of time.. still looking beautiful, graphic wise. And quite a few others i.e. Dead Space
Terrible port...look in the mirror with your guy...turn the resolution up high everything is blury...and its locked at 30fps...this was made for consoles...2k dropped the ball on this one too for pc users...the console version actually looks better...I advise save your badnwidth...or at least wait for a bunch of updates...
Denuvo games are also cracked, it just takes longer. Look at INSIDE, Tomb Raider or Mirrors Edge - All three are protected with Denuvo and have been cracked by now. @OT: Since Mafia III is not protected by Denuvo, it is most likely a proper crack; I´m sure IGG would have mentioned it if it was just a Bypass.
just so you know proper crack Back in the day ( few months ago) There was a bypass for the devuno Now cpy is on their job to crack All of it and when the bypass was there THERE was a red disclamier saying " This is a bypass not a proper crack if devuno updates the bypass wont work" When you look at this game Nop no disclamier
