hey guys can you upload the original skidrow version? Because skirmish is the best part of this game and its removed in prophet's version! (same thing is true for dawn of war II and chaos rising prophet versions... :/

I have resolved by searching the skidrow version(that is preceding, but i think lacks only some skin and heroes for the useless LastStand mode), i achieve founding only a russian language one, but i copy-pasted the language i want from this one, after having installed both. Worked, seems.

Search: 40000 Dawn Of War II Retribution [MULTI5][PCDVD][SKIDROW] ..version is: 3.19.1.6123 (it will not be compatible with some MODs). This should be a multi-language vers, and no russian, dunno why but it automatically appeared as russian for me, you can try to verify the lang packs, you find them in "gamefolder"\GameAssets\Locale, and you can choose wich one in the SKIDROW.ini. I dont remember if i verified before dowloading the vers here.
You right, and in any case it's not a nice thing. ^_^ For notice, i'm keeping that torrent dowload, for seeding, i connect the PC almost everyday for 12 hours. Hoping to help others.

Is not that online only? As also the skirmish A.I. for this expansion, also seem that is very bug-filled and unbalanced, that say who played it, not tested it myself, i owned and played the base game and experienced a little of chaos rising, founded many big bugs and strange balance that does'nt exist before and give up....relics goes to shit long before dawnofwar3. R.I.P. P.S. i suggest to play Dawn of War Soulstorm + race unlocker fix(for saving space unless you want to play old campaigns) + use DoWPRO mod for a perfect skirmish or UltimateApocalypse for the single-campaign.
Hi I have a problem, i've installed the game but when I try to launch it it opens a steam window with the store page for the game. Is there some sort of license needed?
If you still have this problem, I can help you. After mounting the iso file, open the cd up and there should be a folder called PROPHET. Copy the steam_api.dll and replace the steam_api.dll in the game folder with it. The game should work fine afterwards.
It seems you'd need some sort of emulator for steam, SSE doesn't work since the game doesn't come with original steam_api. There is an offline skirmish mod on moddb but the problem is once you click host game after selecting LAN it does nothing. Not sure how to fix it. May just have to stick to campaign. https://www.moddb.com/mods/dawn-of-war-ii-retribution-community-patch/downloads/dow-2-rcp-v102 If you get it to work please share how here.
