for those people got directed to steam, just open up the file "CODEX" copy all the files, then open up the cossacks 3 file where you installed and paste, enjoy the game
IGG made the mistake of deleting the full game and replaced it with the update only. Did you delete the full game you had before? We'll have to request IGG to reupload the full game. :) I kept my old version of Cossacks 3 and installed this update over it and it works perfectly on my side.
If a game has LAN you can normally play it via tunngle or Hamachi or any other direct method. Cracked or not, you just cant do anything that uses the official servers.
It is giving me the 0xc000007b error when I click on the launcher.... the other .exe sends me to the steam page... I get this error with two other games I got, stronghold legends and Battletime
0xc000007b or 00 usually means issue with .dll / redistributables. Try DependancyWalker to find out which one is bad/corrupted. Also check http://errorgamer.com/index/cossacks-3.html On top of that you need DX11 hardware compatibile gpu, double check that. Also, wait for IGG to update Coss3 to 1.08, this one is 1.0.4(outdated) and try the newer version.
DependancyWalker is great tool for small fixes, but I just noticed you said you got other games popin 7b/00 errors. I'd clean up your redistributables, most likely you had them messed up/corrupted by yourself or some "cleaner" apps thus it's quite likely just adding/replacing just couple missing ones that are breaking Cossacks 3 won't help you in the long run.
