Train Simulator 2016 does NOT work. That's why whoever released Train Simulator 2017. A WORKING part 21 is undownloadable. It always gets 'file is broken'. That's why you should get TS2017 PIONEERS because it's the only one that might work.
Yelly, sorry to tell you copying the assets and content from TS20116 is not the answer to get this version of TS2017 working. For one thing, if you have TS2016 working you may as well keep it. The only difference between 2016 & 2017 is cosmetic, new menu design and new pictures. The basic core of both versions is the same!
yes i know it, i meant before I did use these ways, i just play TS17 and failed, stuck on loading screen and cannot playing that game. Maybe because no track or arena and train database on TS17
Then install "Train Simulator 2017 Pioneers Edition Free Download" wherever you want, ex: D:\Program Files (x86)\TS17
Go to "Train Simulator 2016 Free Download (Inclu 103 DLC)" installed folders. ex: C:\Program Files (x86)\TS16 then copy the folder (included all its contents, size about 73 gb) named "Assets" and "Content".
Go to "Train Simulator 2017 Pioneers Edition Free Download" installed folders. ex: D:\Program Files (x86)\TS17 then paste folder (included all its contents, size about 73 gb) named "Assets" and "Content" on your TS17 installed place.

just copy and paste folder and contents of the "Assets" and "Content" from the previous TS (im copied from TS 2016), it works for me! this games 100% works!
Yes. I don't see how quicktime player would make be the issue anyway. Its just an outdated movie player that Apple doesn't even really support anymore. All possible file extensions that quicktime uses are used by other mediaplayers also.
When I start a game it does nothing just the background with community and settings button. Waited 30minutes thinking it might be the loading screen but nothing :(
yup, me neither. The files are all included in the download, but they dont show up ingame. You cant select any route / loco for free ride and cant play any of the "career" missions.
