I installed the game and it worked fine except for the campaign map seems to be lagging. can anyone help?

I installed everything correctly. I just get "Failed to initialize 3D Audio."

you know i still have this game on disk but for some reason it never wants to work right i install the game only to get kicked out for some unknown reason so what did i do i tried reinstalling it on my other computer i used to play it on an it did the same thing so i'm guessing something is wrong with the game or my computer just don't like it so i came here to get it in hopes that it will work because i miss this game so much i have RTW2 on steam but it is no fun because you got to pay for all the other nations like Sparta and such and i find that bull i mean come on now if you gonna have all the nations in this one then why not put them in the second total war game for free not make people pay for the dlc for the other nations witch where in this one witch then should have been in that one so they rip people off by making you pay for other nations that are already part of the game...

Rome TW was great, and there was a mod version that actually made it even better called Rome Total Realism by correcting the inacurracies of the original depictions of the combat units among other things. Look it up if you enjoy these games. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rome:_Total_Realism
