@For newbie: Don't forget crack before launching the game (otherwise you will get the "no license" error). By doing one of the following:
Method 1: before installing the game, check the following box:
Method 2: or after installing the game, open the iso file, copy everything in the "RUNE" folder, then paste them to where you installed the game, enjoy ;) (see tutorial image here if you still dont know: https://igg-games.com/how-885614657-to-install-game-and-update.html)
Fix for PC (Steam / Third-Party Controllers)If you are playing on PC, you can bypass the glitch by forcing a raw input trajectory through your controller software:Change Stick Trajectory: If you use a controller with companion software (like GameSir, 8BitDo, or Razer), open the app and change the left stick trajectory from "Circle" to "Raw".Steam Input: Community members on the Dawnwalker Official Subreddit note that while “enabling steam input doesn't completely fix it,” tweaking the deadzone parameters in Steam's controller layout settings can help stabilize the sprint threshold.
mostly shills some are lying if they dont post their specs their reviews are not very valid thats why you see i posted images with people showing their specs
After 1 hour of test gameplay whit my GTX 1650 Super With graphics at minimum and in 720p, the game barely maintains 30 FPS, It's constantly between 22 and 30 FPS, not stable at all.
So it's really not playable if you have a filthy peasant graphics card like mine. But if they work to optimize the game to give at least a 5 FPS boost, it will be completely playable on a GTX 1650 Super. In my case, I would try this game again in a year or when the game is complete and receives its final update, and hopefully by that time the game will have been optimized, which I doubt because of the U5 DOG SHIT!!! ........................................... My PC is a i5 11400 GTX 1650 Super 16GB RAM DDR 4 3200 MHz game installed on an SSD
don't say u5 dogshit, this game is really well optimized, my 15$ ryzen 5 1600af and 120$ 2070 super run this game on high, in your situation i would stop wasting time on writing comments and get a fucking job
You're the one without a job loser, you're on a pirate site getting a pirated game, get a job and pay for your games, before you complain that someone doesn't have a job u fucking clown.
Despite that, I can play 99 percent of games at least at a stable 30 FPS/720P, and there have only been about 3 games that I can't play because they force RTX, or they were never optimized, You'd be surprised and wouldn't believe the things a GTX 1650 Super can do.
Non of the patches actually improve the game just use 1.0.1 till there is a real update You can beat it and never had a game breaking bug Unless you need controller to play it
Combat is buggy for me so time blocks just don't detect or the enemy just misses
It's definitely not v1.0.2, bro. We aren't that fast, the game was only updated on Steam four hours ago. There will likely be dozens more updates today or tomorrow, so it's best to wait for the developer to release a stable version before we update—rather than having to redownload 50GB every few hours.
That's why I'm always thankful when someone posts an "early access" steam picture :) Saves me time because I don't have any to waste it on unfinished stuff, no matter how good.
I sometimes download them or buy them on steam to try them out, if I think it will be good eventually I keep it, if not I just delete it or refund it.. I pirated Palworld in early access then bought it before the lawsuits, didn't play that much until the 1.0 release.. I also recently bought Windrose, got the pirate ship and quit to wait for full release, fun games.. I bought Craftopia during a sale and it barely ran for me so I instantly refunded it, surprised that it wasn't abandoned though, might try again because I love Palworld lol...
Look at what roosevelt said in the comment above mine. The 1.02 update was just hours ago, it takes a while for them to get it and upload it and post the links here. Not to mention that with a game like this there will be a ton of hotfixes made in rapid succession so it's better to wait for a more stable version before uploading any updates.
Is this your first time using pirate? It's okay, everyone has their first time, even me more than 10 years ago. I will be happy to guide you. You see the name of this release "The Blood of Dawnwalker-RUNE", it's not mine, I just re-uploaded it from SCENE, in this case the RUNE team (you don't need to search their website, since it's not public on the internet, websites you find are known to fake and use the names of groups at SCENE).
What is Scene? you should search the wiki and google about this, they will explain it better than me. In general, the scene is decades old, certainly older than you (and me). It is completely safe. All the pirates you download from the internet, including movies, games, software,... are mostly leaked from the Scene.
When you download a game (or anything that comes from Scene) from sites like IGG, you can easily check the legitimacy of the file you downloaded. By using database sites taken from the scene, for example https://www.srrdb.com/browse/category:pc/order:date-desc/1,... You use tools like 7z, to check the file's HASH code, and match it with information from those web pages. If the hashes match, you are completely safe, and vice versa.
Yikes that run glitch is obnoxious but otherwise I'm not hating it. YET.
Edit: Nevermind! This totally fixed the issue:

This time I don't have much hope that my graphics card will be able to handle this poorly optimized game, but I'll try it anyway and let you all know how it goes whit my GTX 1650 Super lol
Poorly optimized or just your too poor to afford a good graphics card lol, runs smooth on my 5090 and for the 30 fps cutscenes you can get a mod to fix it.
If you need mods to fix optimization, it's poorly optimized. There are plenty of people with 40xx and 50xx cards having issues. Most of them can be fixed with mods, but acting like that isn't a problem is stupid.
Ill play DD2, and wait for a year or so to play this. Lots of optimizations and game content added.. WIN WIN. I wait until i get the best version possible of the game
I'm kinda afraid to download DD2, what with Dark Arisen 2 right around the corner...you just know it probably won't be just a simple update, but a possible whole new download...
just wait for it you probably will need to download all over again when the DLC gets released and honestly its annoying to download files bigger than 50 gbs
Cut the ~mods Files in Dawnwalker\Content\Paks then past it in an other places befor patching Do the same if you have somes Moded .ini in your AppData\Local\Dawnwalker\Saved\Config\Windows Be sure tu verified if thoses mods are updated for 1.0.3 befor place them them back
now use dlss 5 and blow up the pc xD joke aside a few users they were victim of that garbage with their 5000 series, their gpus got burned from the plastic entrance i couldnt imagine how painful must be for those fellas who wasted thousand of bucks on that shit
One thing I forgot to mention is that I think this game is best played with a keyboard and mouse if you want to save money, because its combat mechanics will destroy your controller's analog stick, and I have no doubt that you'll end up with stick drift by the end. But if you have the money to keep buying controllers or the experience of changing the stick on your controller, have fun. Because I'm filthy poor, and I can't risk wasting my controller on this game xd
i am not exactly poor but neither rich but fuck controllers, i have played with k+m since 90s i barely use it for games who wasnt designed for PC like dark souls 1 who is a nightmare with k+m on oldschool fighting games like king of fighters 2002um, its a walk in the park for me to make combos rather than using the arcade sticks
I kinda got used to directional blocking from playing For Honor and another game that the name of currently escapes me...but this one seems pretty generous by indicating from which direction the attack is coming from, plus if that isn't enough, you can go to gameplay settings and make it so you can just hit the block button to block, and only lose stamina if you block the wrong way, not take damage. Go ahead, it's ultimately safe for controllers...lol
Oh, I didn't know that. It's great that they added that, although technically I feel it makes the combat less fun, but at least the option is there to play safely with the controller.
I have a 2 cheap controllers that are immune to stick drift, an 8bitdo ultimate 2c bluetooth switch controller, and a gamesir nova lite bluetooth controller, though you'll need ds4 windows for both of them since one is a switch controller, and the other is technically a ps4 controller Just make sure it has hall effect joysticks and stick drift won't happen... There's also the steam controller which I'm pretty sure can't get stick drift but that's pretty expensive lol..
Damn, I hate timed games, you can't just mess around and level up in peace. Can anyone tell me if this is like Dead Rising where running out of time gives you a bad ending but lets you keep exploring and leveling up or is it an outright "Game Over" when the time runs out in this game?
My God, the modding community is on fire! The game hasn't even been out for 24 hours and there are already over 70 mods on Nexus!!! Thanks for telling me this, I thought I'd have to wait longer for these kinds of mods.
You mean Onimusha? Downloading it as we speak. And yeah, I'm over there but for some reason my account there was limited, even though I didn't do anything wrong
The site's staff just...isn't very good. Inflated egos and all stuff, you know? It's just bothersome having to wait for a mod to approve my posts, makes me not want to comment at all.
Starting the game at the moment, no crashes or issues so far
Well the demo didn't seem to have many performance issues when I played it. plus with the HV bypass, while Denuvo is active it's not constantly connecting to it's servers which is half of why the performance gets impaired in the first place but we'll see what happens. If performance is poor then I'll wait for Voices to get to it
you gonna need it
sigh welp back to mgs4

playing a 1.0 game without any knowledge its a lot better
its much easier for scene groups to crack all files again
and quit, uninstalled, after the first battle.
not my cup of tea,

Any-idea what might be an issue? Just downloaded game, and wanted to patch it higher... (have not played or modded the game before)
Anyone else?

Geez.
It's like you got a vendetta against controllers or something.
i dont tolerate when you are 100% forced to use a controller on a game who was released on console and pc the same day
I also don't like being forced to play with one control scheme, but it's good to have options, no?
