Yeah well the concept of Raft isn't too unique per se and other games that try to do it can improve in many aspects. It's like you aren't reinventing the wheel but but need to build a car around it. But that being said, I haven't seen any that can be called a modern day Raft successor. Raft has gone through a long update cycle and to make a better game would take a really dedicated AA studio with years of development time.
