is Woke and optimized whit the ass, as expected, it's not as good as XCOM, So many games have come out using XCOM's mechanics, and none have ever been as good as XCOM, The gameplay on mission reminds me of the masterpiece Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, But it executes in the worst possible way, And playing with a controller is torture; those menus are the worst. Playing with a keyboard and mouse is much better. And that optimization It's terrible how the hell U5 can make a strategy game run so badly?, fuck U5, it's fucking cancer. With those generic graphics, all the games on U5 look the same, Companies with absolutely no artistic talent always going for that horrible photorealistic look, I'M TIRED OF IT PUT A UNIQUE STYLE IN YOUR FUCKING GAMES!!
And the Ugly characters I've never liked the aliens in Star Wars; they're all ugly and disgusting. Luckily, you can put a helmet on everyone, and you ended up playing with a bunch of stormtroopers, Even though I hate that even when you activate the option to prevent the helmets from being removed during cutscenes, The sons of bitches take them out any way, and you're forced to watch the ugliness.
The game is only a 6 at best; right now there are too many problems. I'll play it anyway, but only when the game is complete and receives its final update. Either way, it's exactly what I expected.
Its EA, what did you expect? Them to subvert your expectations? ha!
Stick to the indies mate, they bring banger after banger, eating the AAA slop's lunch money... Can't even remember the last AAA game I played. Just finished Fell & Sell and this game is simple awesome, I wish I could support the dev... He deserves it.
Okay, Fell & Sell isn't that good. Come on. For the price it is a decent enough game but let's not act like it is some masterpiece. Also, no one here bought the game so I don't know why you're acting like people here are supporting EA by getting the game by less than legal means 🤣
To me, its a 8/10 game. Would be more if it was longer and had more features.
And some people here do sometimes buy games and support the devs when they deserve it. They use this site to "test" the games and then decide if its worth buying or not. I have done that in the past, unfortunately I can't do that anymore, so I just pirate the games I think I will play.
Game works but the performance is absolute trash, see for yourself but I'm getting a solid 20fps on settings that would get me a perfect 60 in pretty much anything else. Plus they have an atrocious bug I have never seen in 1,000 other games where just having the game running causes your keyboard and mouse to disconnect every 2 minutes or so, forever.
Fuck EA, maybe eventually I'll see if the game is actually decent. The consensus from non casuals is that it is a poor xcom imitation but that the story is pretty good. The face choices you will see are fucking awful DEI slop where you have to choose between ugly and uglier. They actually have no excuse for how ugly the face choices are because the two characters you see talking 5 seconds into the game before you even customize your character look normal.
Edit: Still in the process of giving the game a generous chance. If you tweak your settings enough you can certainly improve the graphics and performance. Vsync is a broken setting and does not work you'll have to set it at hardware level in nvidia control panel for one to fix tearing if you have it (tearing was horrid for me). Turn off the final setting for Environment Geometry Detail for a huge boost. Was able to have it running near 60fps on a 4060ti with the rest on medium, hidden objects simplified, and shadows and textures bumped to high. It still has a shitty problem loading many textures like changing outfits or using other weapon skins unfortunately. Outfits seem to load when you actually swap to them.
Okay i've try it, the story is good, the gameplay is good but the performance is absolute dogshit. The game is badly optimized cuz every render sequence is directed into the CPU not GPU (i dunno if its because UE5 or the dev just lazy to the core for optimization). I suggest anyone who want to play it set the graphic on low or medium graphic settings.

Dude this game is making me want to ragequit hard. There's so much LACKING it's insane. Barely any tactical options available in maps and overwatch is totally broken. I have dudes in my overwatch cone just run right up to me and take 2/3's of my health w/o me even firing at them. This game is pure trash. EA is garbage AF.
Edit: OK So I got past the mission that was getting me all butthurt and now I am actually enjoying the game. It still has major bugs - especially w/ Overwatch not triggering - but I am still really enojoying it.
anyone else having trouble mounting the ISO keeps telling me the image is corrupted, i've redownloaded the files multiple times and its always the same
When trying to extract the parts my PC crashes or the .iso ends up being corrupted. Tried it with multiple fresh downloads. Extracting it with 7zip and the standart Windows exctraction tool.

Your weaponry is pretty limited, and the 3 AP limit also hinders a lot of what you can do per turn.
There's also a lack of good environmental damage/interaction, and some enemies are just really tanky to the point where it's not that fun.
The only good turn based game I've encountered is Tactical Breach Wizards.
