Me and everyone I know who grew up playing Metal Gear loves that game, Phantom Pain that is split. Also, our generation massacred MGS2 because we didn't get to play as Snake after the prologue, it's not a great example of a fanbase.
when i played sons of liberty didnt care much for the change from raiden to snake what caught me off guard was when i tried the early 2000s pc port total unplayable dogshit i thought it was going to be like mgs1 who was very well done ported got quite depressed by the dissapointment
What do you mean? It's the new generation that doesn't like it because of the long cutscenes; for those who followed its release closely, it was highly acclaimed and remains one of the best to this day.
I personally will happily play it again, this is after all my favorite of the mainline titles. Besides, I've been wanting to replay this game for years but bever got it running on the emulator. Also, just think of the modding potential this port offers

Yeah but you know people would rant if a PC game didn't include mouse and keyboard options. I get you on the cutscenes though, it's not everyone that can handle so many cutscenes in one game, especially with Kojima's writing style. Heck, IIRC, this game has an almost 80 minute long cutscene towards the end
just watch them on youtube bro been playing, then pause and alt tab to watch the same cutscene on japanese i am almost done with this game but watching many cutscenes gets tired yesterday i fall asleep and fuck it, i shut down the pc and went to sleep
It's tricky, someone would need to get their hands on the Japanese version of the game, rip the files and then make sure everything is compatible with the EU/US version
I don't like Death Stranding if that's what you mean. And I never said I don't like Kojima's stories, the man just has a nasty habit of overcomplicating things
I meant that as a joke, as strand type genre was a term they used during the promotion of those games. I absolutely agree that his storylines are silly.

Keyboard and mouse control are dope, I just changed the crouching/crawling key is all, no idea why most yap about controller commands feeling more comfortable. No idea about you guys, but the keybinds came by default just like I love them: WASD, SHIFT, SPACEBAR, 1234567890, Q, E, MOUSE. They did a really great job with the port, compared to Ninja Gaiden series forcing you to play on controller. That's Hideo Kojima goated diff, of course.
Well, so far so good, I'm not noticing anything, like, broken or botched with this port. Though I did notice the password system was missing(In the original you could type passwords to get unique guns and camos and songs for the ipod) so I looked it up and it was changed in this release, it was replaced with taking photos of certain landmarks. What those landmarks are I don't know YET
Maybe it hasn't been cracked yet. I noticed that it doesn't have a steam page and both MGS4 and Peace Walker do(Besides the page for Master Collection Vol 2 I mean) and both the bonus games for the first volume have their own separate steam pages

That's not true AT ALL. Every cracked game ever works with a controller and for the very few that don't, adding them to steam as a non steam games lets you use steam's controller API for it
No it doesn't. You said USUALLY they don't work, implying the majority don't and that's not true. USUALLY they work just fine, there a VERY SMALL percentage that don't. And I mean TINY percentage, like 1 in 10 or so
I use a PS4 remote for everything, some games only will recognize an Xbox controller the DS4 program will let you mask your remote as an Xbox or any other kind of remote.

i tried to press Copy content of rune in the installer but i got a error saying it didnt work and i have to do it myself. i tried to take the files in the folder and it still didnt work ??
