Hi, stupid question... do i have to download all 8 parts before installing? And also, do i have to put them all in one folder? im new to this, please help
I recommend you download all games through http://mega.co.nz Download them all (Parts 1-8), after that just put the Part 1 in your desktop or anywhere you want to put it. it automatically downloads all of the other parts (Parts 2-8), just open the folder and click "setup" Then you're done! Other games like these (requiring parts) are also the same as the method above! Note: You must disable your Antivirus to make the game work (like disabling Windows Defender Security Center, Avira, McAfee, etc.)

Go on the Pirate bay and search for ,,Alice Madness Returns CrackFix by Theta'' That should fix it. And also one guy down in the comments posted a video about deleting some EA files that are causing that.
I think I figured that out. i've had the same problem, and what helped was that i copied the 'awc.dll' to the core, which should be under Alice2/Binaries/Win32/Core

in the installer files there is a folder called prophet in there is a launcher. copy the launcher and replace the original with that one. the original is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Alice Madness Returns - The Complete Collection\Game\Alice2\Binaries\Win32
The game is running fine on my pc but I can't use the umbrella during fights! I'm stuck at the fight with menacing ruin. I have been at it for hours but the umbrella is not showing up during the fight. I can't even advance without it. HELP!!!
For those who have problems with the 5:0000065434 ( steam error ) please notice that the game requires to be cracked. Follow the instructions to replace some program in the original game folder with those in the crack ( prophet ) folder and the game should be good to play. I tried a bunch of solutions until I realized that I haven't crack the game. You might want to disable the anti-virus before it deletes some of your game dlls files.
I want this game but Iam afraid of a virus the rld file says contains a virus and i dont know if its a false reading or not since all the cracked games dont do this
It is normal crack, bro. You should disable your AV/Firewall, then copy/paste it to your game's dir, and start game then. I played this version a long time ago, and now, my PC still normal :D

It worked for me too. I wasn't getting the load error but the game just wouldn't launch. Thought it was maybe a Windows 10 issue but this solution fixed it. I got a feeling it'll solve it for a lot of people. I was on the Steam forums earlier and even legit copies from Steam were having issues related to this to where people were being required to apply a serial when installing it after upgrading to Windows 10 even though the Steam version doesn't require it, so they were having to load the Steam version through Origin or some kind of weird stuff. Probably those same files causing mayhem for everybody. Thanks for posting this.

So I downloaded, extracted, and set up all that shet for Alice: Madness Returns but every time i run the .exe nothing happens. So I went found the crack, placed it in the core file... nothing still. no error message, steam opening, nothing. If you can halp me plz do. Thnks either way man!
