@For newbie: Don't forget crack before launching the game (otherwise you will get the "no license" error). By doing one of the following:

I was finally able to get my controller to work via the following method :)
To use your PS5 DualSense Controller (which is using DS4Windows), open Steam, go to “Library” and click on the Marvel Toukon game exe ("start_protected_game.exe") and then click on the Controller icon on the right side of the screen.
Then “Disable Steam Input” and then run the game and the controller should work correctly. (at least that did the trick for me ^^)
I thought blocking the game in my firewall fixed it, but I forgot I had disabled controller on Spacewars before I blocked the firewall , it was disabling the spacewars controls that did it not the firewall blocking

Avvia "start_protected_game.exe" e il gioco dovrebbe partire.
Puoi anche aggiungere il gioco a Steam e avviarlo da lì: apri Steam, vai nella "Libreria" e, in basso a sinistra, clicca su "Aggiungi un gioco" > "Aggiungi un gioco non di Steam".
Clicca su "Sfoglia" e seleziona "start_protected_game.exe" per far sì che Steam carichi/avvii il gioco tramite il client.
Se ti viene chiesto di installare l'ultima versione di "PlayStation PC SDK", vai su: MTFS\Binaries\Win64\Prerequisites\PSPCRUNTIME
Ed esegui "PsPcSdkRuntimeInstaller.msi".
Per eliminare lo screen tearing (effetto di strappo dell'immagine), avvia il gioco e, mentre stai giocando, vai al menu principale > Opzioni > Impostazioni grafiche scorri verso il basso e attiva la "Sincronizzazione verticale" (Vertical Sync).
So I have one more question, it seems that the DLC isn't working for me.
I play the game and try to choose a character costume but it doesn't give me the option to scroll from the "default" costume for any of the characters that have a DLC costume like Iron Man, Spider Man, Storm, etc.
Does anyone know how to get all of the DLC to work correctly?
didnt work for me at first i had to close out of the game replug in my controller and then restart the game to make it work , it seems to only work when i plug in the controller b4 i start the game

Not working for me. There is No ISO to install. When I try running it from "launch Protected Game" I get an error saying "Easy Anti Cheat not installed". When I try running it from "MTFS\MTFS\Binaries\Win64\MTFSSteam-Win64-Shipping.exe" nothing happens. I checked Windows Security and everything and it didn't quarantine any files from this one so I don't know what else to do.
Laggy game makes me look like I'm doing my best impression of darksydephil. Checked all my settings, checked my latency and all that and even considering overclocking the dang PC to narrow the problem down. Come to find out that it might be Sony's meddling to get others to ignore using that down payment for a car and just buy a PS5 so I can enjoy how the game is intended to play.
Don't know how killing the hype of a game is the master plan, but that's some Konami "Silent Hills" plays right there. =_=;;;
Supposedly that kind of lag should be only be present when playing online cause the netcode is absolute trash, so much so that even MaximillianDood uninstalled the game and refused to play it any more

maybe. ive tried playing a few games that dont "recognize" the DS4Windows. even had an official PS5 controller and didnt recognize that. thats microsoft for you.
I made a quick instructions document for myself in case I forget one day, but here is the instructions :)
If you receive an error message when running the "start_protected_game.exe" then you'll need to install the EasyAntiCheat.

And "Run as Administrator".
Then go to: MTFS\Binaries\Win64\Prerequisites\eos_eac_setup

Then you need to load/run Steam itself. (Note: Steam has to be running in the background for the game to load correctly)
And then go to the root directory of the Marvel Tokon folder.
And load "start_protected_game.exe" and the game should start.
You can also “Add Game” to Steam and play it through Steam by opening Steam going to “Library” and then at the bottom left you can click on “Add Game” > “Add a Non-Steam game”.
Then click browse and select "start_protected_game.exe" to have Steam load/run the game via the Steam client.
If it asks you to install the latest version of "PlayStation PC SDK" go to: MTFS\Binaries\Win64\Prerequisites\PSPCRUNTIME
And then run "PsPcSdkRuntimeInstaller.msi".
To get rid of screen tearing, load the game and while playing the game go to the main menu > Options > Graphics Settings scroll down and then turn on "Vertical Sync".

Because this game doesn't use standard Steam security, that's why you haven't seen SCENE groups cracking it until now. This P2P crack, never perfect, can't perfectly bypass Easy Auto Cheat.
