In Steam go to library and highlight game, right click to bring up options then left click on properties. Target should be redout\Binaries\Win64\redout-Win64-Shipping.exe Then go to set launch options Set the complete address to the win64 shipping exe (c:program files, etc) and place -vr at the end (leave a space between address including exe and -vr, no quotation marks at the beginning or end)
haha.. i ran this on this laptop i3 2.4 GHz 4GB RAM Geforce 820M clearly lower than minimum.. but still playable but needed double play as first time playing a map is laggy as balls XD
it seems that the option to start in vr mode Sets from the properties of the game in steam and not from the executable file. So the problem could be solved by modifying a dll file or startup parameters on the shortcut.... becouse the game has native support for the vive....
got most of the games i tried on this site to work in vr but this game and dead secret i think this game tries to launch in vr but theres a error somewhere that kicks it my monitor
I can't get omega agent 1.1 or final approach to display on the rift both work fine as I can hear all the sounds through the rift earphones, I get a black screen in the little box that they run in on my tv (which I use as monitor) any help would be appreciated. Reading the above comments I thought I had all the methods covered but have never tried whilst logged out of steam, hmmm ill have to give it a go.
ok forgot bout omega agent never got it to work either lol final aproach just crashes on me too if u get them working let me know got a few days off so prob retry all of em again
I had another play last night bk and still no joy,. Bk may be time to start archiving some vive releases though a guy on oculus forum has a pair of touch controllers and says that they work perfectly with all the vive titles which is great to hear.
