For anyone getting the (ERROR: in file Src\VPFrameWork.cpp at line 164 in function). Make sure in the reg file that you have the correct directories. ughh got it to work this what i did. downloaded and installed the old one on https://pcgamestorrents.com/facerig-pro-v1-312-inclu-live2d-module-dlcs.html made sure everything installed and didn't reboot my computer. Then I opened were I installed it then i downloaded https://igg-games.com/facerig-519714404-free-download.html. i coped bin to were I had the old version installed then i downloaded the crack i coped the bin from crack into were i have the game installed i launched the game and [ ERROR: in file Src\VPFrameWork.cpp at line 164 in function cVPFrameWork::Init: ERROR: Requested api(1) not found. ok so I've downloaded the it using google drive link, there is no installation for it. whenever I execute the FaceRig.exe file ( it launches steam and stays on the product page) also whenever Launch the "Launcher.exe" it says( Cannot find executable . are you sure you installed through steam ? ) I think it's missing a crack or something.
Unable to launch after installing crack. I have installed all prerequisites and have updated the registry to Gin Crossford post below. I am just not able to launch it with the crack version of the exe or lunch application.
For those have problem even import the registry: Don't forget to download the crack file under CRACK FIXED section (Or it will return error code 35 and open Steam), and install the necessary prerequisites under ~/Bin/prerequisites/ folder (c0000135).

i cant post links, so ill tell you where it is, its in The Bay. the name is FaceRig Pro v1.957 also, my experience of installing facerig is that i first tried the uncracked IGG back then. after that i tried the magnitude version (still doesnt work). after that i tried the recent crack to the IGG version. then it works
well, its FaceRig Pro v1.957 i found in piratebay. its an iso file you can mount with an installer. my experience is first i downloaded tthe newest IGG version that has no crack, then i installed that magnitude version with no avail, then IGG uplaoded the crack and i got it working in the IGG version
so i got it working. what you have to do is: install the prerequisites in the prerequisite folder apply the crack, except launcher.exe (keep original launcher) launcher 64 doesnt seem to be affecting anything do the registry thing using regedit launch cracked facerig using launcher.exe (original one), as in my experience, launching it directly gives black screen thats it. have fun.
well, i wonder if its because i installed a prior version of facerig (the magnitude version you can find on torrent sites) that has an installer which is easier to install the prerequisites. it sucks but maybe get that first? i have no problem after applying the crack in the new version (except the steam emu launcher) but i do remember launching the cracked launcher first before swapping it for the non-cracked version. i hope this helps
downloaded folder, doesnt have a crack .iso file or anything, just FaceRig.v20.08.2020, IGG-GAMES.COM, PCGAMESTORRENTS.COM and a README.txt, just normal game folders that launch into steam in the facerig folder, did i install it wrong or do i need to do something else?????
Hey so I see people saying that you have to apply the crack, but I see no crack in the folder. Every time I open the exe steam opens up, and when I launch the launcher.exe, it says it can't find the facerig exe, even though it's in the folder. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Before I download, I want to ask a question. Can I add my own Live2D Module and use it in this release? Because I own the v1.389 released by a certain scene group but when I copy my own model to there, it won't show up in the model selection thus I can't use it. I can confirm my model works because I can use it on different program which have similar purpose as facerig, just not as powerful

your comment is just pending lol, its not a virus thats the crack file all files are tested and scanned before upload so any detection is just a false positive. disable your AV before extracting / installing

Dude I just helped you. You're on a free site, you get what you pay for. You don't understand how it works and blamed the wrong thing when the answer is right in front of you, just double check you have the DLLs before infecting yourself with malware trying to find them. Look up how to register existing DLL files the OS is not recognizing after a manual update of C++ framework and your fickle games should run fine.
When you say 'yet again' the missing DLL files are part of windows updates and the C++ essential framework to run most games and applications. (Granted some will use one set and not another, which is why some games work and others don't.) I'm going to guess you're using a pirated operating system and aren't tech savy enough to manually update the whole thing correctly. The DLLs are included in the many many downlaods included in facerig. Did you skip those? Repair them? Documenting for future readers. BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD ANY RANDOM DLL file,check to see if it's actually in Win 32. You may just have to register it, and everything will work flawlessly.
Install each individual part 1-7. (They will be individual zip files that seem unconnected and loose. This is okay.)
Disconnect from internet to avoid any kind of connection conflict before you have a chance to crack the software. Go to the downloads folder where the seven zip files are located. Create a new folder here or on your desktop (doesn't matter where) and name it whatever you want. E.g. Facerig Setup Files
Drag ALL of the seven zip files into the folder you just made.
Open ONLY number one/part one, the very first of the seven files. Open it with a zip program like 7-Zip so you can view the contents.
Select all of the contents and drag them to the folder you just made, where the zip files are being store. (Or extract how you are used to, to this folder.) If all of the zip files are in the same folder, it will automatically pull the necessary files from all of them, so ONLY EXTRACT THE FIRST ONE. [Someone in the comments below extracted all of them at once and it still worked for them, but it is unnecessary.]
When the long extraction is finished, a regular folder called FACERIG.PRO.V1.957 will now be in the folder the zips are stored in. Double click it. Inside is an iso file. Right click it and mount it with virtual clone drive. (Or your virtual cd drive program of choice.) Wait a moment and the notification will pop up asking wtf you want to do with the file. You want to run setup. If no notification pops up, go to my pc and manually open it there and run the setup.
[Before reading anything else: Whenever something finishes installation and offers a checkmark to launch it, uncheck it. Do NOT launch anything. It's not cracked, and can fuck things up if online.] Many things will install- the majority are copies of necessary windows C++ updates. These are not viruses. Just click 'repair' if you have the ones already, so you don't break the download's continued cycle, but 'close' may also forward it along if you have them. Do NOT run facerig before cracking! Do NOT use the shortcut it automatically made on your desktop! This has not been cracked. Just delete it, and make a copy of the cracked version you just overwrote the original with, and move the copy to your desktop.
Inside the iso itself (which you can open with z-zip or through the mount) is a folder called MAGNITUDE. This is the crack. Copy all of the contents. FaceRig made a shortcut on your desktop. Right click it and 'open file location.' This is where you want to paste the crack- the directory where it downloaded. Overwrite everything it asks you to. If nothing is being overwritten, you have the wrong folder. Enjoy.
every time i want to start it it says that steam_apir.dll is missing. i tried to reinstall it but it wont work. It had worked at a time but now i cant start it... it would be very helpful that someone can help me
Download all files and I recommend putting them in a folder.
Extract all files at the same time using WinRAR
You will get a separate folder, and there should be an ISO file which you double click.
Install FaceRig using the FaceRig-setup (this will also work as uninstall) Keep this folder open.
Download all programs required.
Now the download is complete, click the shortcut on your desktop and open the file path. (If you did not create a shortcut, open (C:) > Programs (x86) > FaceRig > Bin
Go to the first FaceRig folder and open MAGNiTUDE
Drag and drop all files into the Bin folder and replace
In the Bin folder you'll see a file called "FaceRig.exe" (This is the launcher and you can make a short cut to your desktop.
Help It when it loads and i click launch it keeps coming up with The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application. and then Facerig Process failed to launch. Error code returned 0xc000007b.

From what I saw part 1 has all the parts and only difference is in files names and there is less files in rar files. In installation it keeps installing same files and same programs after the main instalation. I don't really know is that really necessary. Actually... Go to Google and type portaudio_86.dll, you will get a website full of dll files! If you get any more dll problems, in the dll website there is a search box, but I think some of them are not there... :/

Same here. Installed everything, all the drivers, and, when i click on the exe, all it does is open the launcher. When I click to start, in the "Action" button, Steam opens in Facerig's store page. :-/
That's not an error, I think that's their penalty for using a pirated version of visage|SDK XD we're gonna have to wait until somebody finds a way around this. I may wrong, though, and It might just be an error. Makes sense if it's the penalty for a pirated version though

also, my experience of installing facerig is that i first tried the uncracked IGG back then. after that i tried the magnitude version (still doesnt work). after that i tried the recent crack to the IGG version. then it works
except if it was updated
install the prerequisites in the prerequisite folder
apply the crack, except launcher.exe (keep original launcher) launcher 64 doesnt seem to be affecting anything
do the registry thing using regedit
launch cracked facerig using launcher.exe (original one), as in my experience, launching it directly gives black screen
thats it. have fun.

BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD ANY RANDOM DLL file,check to see if it's actually in Win 32. You may just have to register it, and everything will work flawlessly.
Many things will install- the majority are copies of necessary windows C++ updates. These are not viruses. Just click 'repair' if you have the ones already, so you don't break the download's continued cycle, but 'close' may also forward it along if you have them.
Do NOT run facerig before cracking! Do NOT use the shortcut it automatically made on your desktop! This has not been cracked. Just delete it, and make a copy of the cracked version you just overwrote the original with, and move the copy to your desktop.

After installing all required programs and softwares (C++ and all that.) I get the error c000009a which to my surprise, no one has ever gotten on Steam. So, does anyone have a fix for this?
