WHY THIS HAPPENS: Old Windows systems had a limit of 260 characters for any path. This means that if you have long folder names, you won't be able to put as many folders inside of each other. This game has so many nested folders (subfolder within subfolder within subfolder etc.) that it's WAY surpassed 260 characters.
The path I gave as an example in the error above above points to a simple file VFX file. No good reason for the path to be a whopping 319 characters. Not to mention that the file:
fx_soulw_gs_demonkingdagger_w_lc.bundle
is 39 characters alone! This game's folder/file naming scheme is LONG AF!
The good news is that this 260 character limit is for very old OS or 32bit systems. If you have Windows 10+, you can enable LongPaths, which will give you a character limit of 32,767 for paths!!

My Longpath is at 1 and it still gives me a ISDone.dll error (no matter how i try to install it) or the ERROR: can't open file [insert 300+ characters] error. Any solution for that? :x
Other people have recommended trying to install it to a hard-disk drive or an HDD. You could try using a USB, or different format if you only have SSDs or a single SSD do partial partition of a different format, although idk because this worked for me.
The installer breaks and stops working halfway through the process... and I've tried the torrent download AND the separate part files method and both versions are def broken.

You're problem is likely that you don't have long paths enabled, and your Windows machine is likely still stuck with the old 32bit limit of about 260 character filepaths. Trust me, I've looked into this games folders, and they have extreme organization and very long names, sometimes duplicate folders, and this all leads up to some retardedly long path names.
Here's an example of a ridiculous path length in the game directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Solo Leveling ARISE OVERDRIVE\Solo_Leveling_ARISE_OVERDRIVE_Data\StreamingAssets\StandaloneWindows64\predownload_assets_assets\assetbundles\effect\fx_prefabs\fx_ch\fx_sungjinwoo_souldweapon\fx_soulw_gs_dagger\fx_soulw_demonkingdagger\fx_soulw_gs_demonkingdagger_w_lc.bundle

I'm getting that error yet I do have those LongPathsEnabled set to 1. I have restarted just to be sure I didn't change it during the current boot of windows, but even after restarting the error persists.
Gameplay on GT1030 for those interested! -Man, had to play it on low quality but pretty damn happy as to how it runs for me. Game is goated and did not fail to resume the Manhwa or Anime well. I love how they blended the comics strip style to combo with the cut scenes, but there's so much to say about the game tbh.
