After I downloaded the pirate version and got myself familiarized with the game, I went on Steam and actually tried multiplayer. Because if you play single player, it becomes quite boring quite fast, because the roguelike element is not good enough, nor does it create synergy for you to grind this game solo.
But then in multiplayer, it is much more focused on teamwork than probably should be for a game of this kind. Unless every player is a veteran player that plays this game a lot and knows exactly what to do, and "be a good husband/wife" type of things, and do their job without people needing to tell them what to do. Otherwise, there needs to be one commanding player who sort of tells everybody what to do. And everybody has to more or less listen and do their job. Because if there is just one player that have a different idea, then the run is dead.
It's not like everybody can do their own thing, as long as they're killing. Everybody has to perform a specific job, and when it comes to farming, everybody needs to get into farming because just one or two people doing the farming is not enough. And there must be no people rushing to the next area. If just one player doesn't know the rules and rushes, the play is dead, as the teamwork falls apart.
So overall, you have to find people that are either "obedient" or "not obedient but reliable at knowing when to do what". It's not like finding random people on the Internet would be a good choice type of game.
