I feel ya bud. I'd say for Steam users EA is basically one of the best feelings. But for loyal pirates keeping up with the correct patches and updates, or getting stuff to work well can end up being worst than sleep paralysis for many perhaps.Uploaded Image

Happens. From what I saw with the menus it feels pretty EA, but the game's performance was smooth for me just like they said on the popup at the start of the game. Seems they really put their heart unto the optimization but did not manage to complete the game just yet. Basically they took their time on one specific part of the game, and decided to release it. With time and player's feedback they build it little by little. There are a lot of EA games I buy and follow like The Coffin of Andy and Leyley or Kats Trigger which basically are yet to have a conclussion. Honestly it's all about the money and time they put into it all, and sometimes being a small Indie company or solo-project means it's an economic struggle, so they find it easier to update it little by little while players experiment with what is already out. I prefer this, than Ubislop releasing games just to test graphic engines tbh and not give a fudge about player's opinion. But in a way, you have Visceral Games that got shut down for actually listening to players. Proof that that industry doesn't want devs to be friendly and unique. Also, apparently even Steam discourages devs to reply back to player's review. One actually did so with mine, and stated that fact before saying thank you. In the end, it's the small companies or projects that get enough freedom to do as they will, big games don't exactly get early access, they just premiere on a specific date. I think EA is a balanced way for games to grow over time, and prevent the whole drama about negative performance and soflock issues that happens most of the time when devs rush their stuff. In a way those who trully care about us, are always fixing all they can in order to make the game enjoyable for everyone. But they do as they can, they can't be perfect or Gods at what they do.

GAMEPLAY ON GT1030 FOR THOSE INTERESTED!
-Lovely game, even on early access have not come across any bugs or glitches so far. Apparently the devs want to make this a comfortable experience for players, considering they even added difficulty sliders to the gameplay. I tried it with all on default tho. Ngl, would have picked a cuter FMC if I was the dev.

The pacing feels really good, enjoying it so far. Worth a buy even if it's still EA.

So rare that I try out a game and aren't bored by the 15th minute

Will stay in Early Access for 2 years+

Currently has 8-10hrs of content

They built their own engine for this so performance is S tier as well.

But I am not ruining my experience with early access as this is one in a million masterpiece. I haven't fully finished Crosscode, so I will try that for now.
