In my post I was pretending my choices were limited and none were particularly good but I have to pick one regardless. Think of it as a pick your poison sort of scenario. Because sometimes in life there are no good choices and you have to make one anyway.
If we are being real here, something even doing nothing is not an option as is the case for me. If I want to play this game, which I do, then buying is the only real option.
Besides even if I didn't, there are plenty of others who will still buy it and that, my friend, is why Denuvo will not go away anytime soon. Because companies keep making a profit and therefore see no reason to stop using it.
i think a much better question would be what you prefer your pc who cost you years of hardwork bleeding like a bitch or some piece of shit who in the future will become fully free of protections
i am pretty sure if ubisoft stopped for good using denuvo on their products sales will be better, no matter if they even fucked up the franchise but here we are using a drm and not giving a single fuck
Cracking den_vo stably would require fixing millions of small checks. Miss one, and it's a delayed game crash. Not to mention the VM, so people don't even bother, except for some rare exceptions. Hypervisor is a layer above the protection and avoids them all. So, you either buy it / don't play it at all, OR use a realistic approach...
"realistic approach.." my ass. There is nothing "realistic" or reasonable about deactivating all major protection function on my PC, to let in some hacker group modified software.
Are you a den_vo shill or something? 100% of the driver/loader/HV code is opensource and you deactivate the protection only when you play the game. Even if you use the compiled code it's not packed/encrypted so anyone can check it for viruses (and people already did). Why the heck you even lurking on igg when 99% of the games here are "hacker modified software"? It can all break into your system, you know, right? It's not like DSE is an absolutely impenetrable wall or something. Major protection my ass.
"It can all break into your system, you know, right?" No it can't? Regular cracks don't operate on the kernel level of your computer, HV bypasses do. You don't have to turn off any security feature to run a normal crack like you do for HV bypasses, comparing the two is just plain ludicrous. Also you can say denuvo, the word is not censored or forbidden here
Honestly speaking, out of all the HV bypassed games uploaded here, there's only one that really interest me but I'm not going to risk my PC over it. Especially since I can get the Switch version and play it on my hacked console or even emulate it
It has been for a while now, IGG just hasn't uploaded them because old versions would require you do disable secure boot in BIOS settings. This version still requires you to disable driver signature enforcement and runs on kernel level hence why IGG is uploading these. HV bypasses are a relatively new but still unstable way to bypass Denuvo
hey, i ve done everything including disabling pin at start, and after devs logos and loading i get black screen with 2 steps sound every couple sec which freeks me out. any ideas about fix? pc specs arent issue for sure. I disabled win real time protection, launched vbs via admin, pressed 1, relaunched with blue screen, clicked 7, ran hypervisor launcher as admin. tried with vbs in and out game dir, and i have no idea what else can i do
Have you tried any other HV game? If so, do they work or do they all result in the same? I know this game is kinda...peculiar, you need to have it on a disc that has enough free space(Around 500 GB or so) or else it won't work correctly.
So apparently the performance issue I mentioned before was my problem. I moved the game to a different SSD that had more free space and it works fine now, weird issue. Anyway the game runs fine and plays fine so far though I can't help but get the impression that Naoe(The ninja girl) was meant to be the protag the whole time and they only added Yasuke so they could implement the more combat oriented gameplay that some players like as well as, you know, "diversity". And probably to stir up controversy on purpose since Yasuke is such a divisive historical figure EDIT: Also this is the EASIEST game to pretend it's not Assassin's Creed. Why? Because there's no modern world site story constantly interrupting you and pulling you out of the experience. All of the modern world stuff(what little there is) is accessible via side quests and it's completely optional
Bottom line, a game is what 100 bucks at the most. That system is what? Worth the risk? Hell no. That HV disables so many protections and may allow us to play, but while playing you know what. Besides, there are tons of cracked games to play with anyway.
if we forget to revert cmd vbs after done playing but directly turn off pc or restart pc, is pc back automatic reset normal like before hv off or hv still on ?
So, I have now beaten this game and I have thoughts about it. First and foremost this is the EASIEST modern AC game to pretend it's not an AC game. Why? Several reasons that I will now list:
No constant interruption from the modern world. You get a bit of it in the intro, the rest is all a sidequest within the game, completely skippable.
The templars are BARELY a footnote at the end of the story
There is BARELY any Isu present. There's a sidequest where you can get some Isu weapons and a statue of Cassandra for some reason for your HQ but beyond that...
Second of all, both sides of the gameplay are fun. Naoe is squishy AF so she will rely more on assassinations than direct combat but that doesn't mean she can't fight, it's just harder for her. Yasuke on the other hand, with the right build he becomes unstoppable. I had a healing build going on and with it, I never had to use rations, I just healed in combat. I also noticed the combat for either character is very parry and counter focused. You CAN win by attacking but it's much easier to parry and counter. This leads me to the game's story and without giving too much away it was fine. BS ending though. I also have to say that having Yasuke as a playable character kinda feels tacked on last minute since the story mainly focuses on Naoe anyway. Could have just had Yasuke be an NPC you recruit and very little would have changed. Now some things I didn't like:
A LOT of side missions are just "go assassinate this group of people" it's annoying how many of these there are. It's something that AC Mirage started and was brought back for this one for some reason, it's stupid
Not a lot of variety when it comes to armor and weapon looks. You can freely change the looks of your armor and weapons at any time but there's not a lot to choose from
Some baffling decisions in terms of perks that feel against character. For example, a lot of poison based perks are for Yasuke whereas Naoe has explosion based perks for her weapons and armor. Feels counter productive, you'd think a ninja would have the poison stuff. Also Naoe doesn't have a bow so her long range options are VERY limited. On the other hand Yasuke has access to both the bow AND the guns
The ending of to the story feels anti climactic and honestly unfinished. Sure Yasuke gets SOME conclusion but Naoe doesn't unless they're saving it for DLC.
The OST during some cutscenes is extremely badly picked, it takes away all the tension of the scene and makes me unable to take it seriously. Same as the OST for the final "boss" battle of Yasuke, it's so dumb I just couldn't take it seriously.
Knowledge ranks. It just hinders your progress too much, just keep the higher level skills tied to leveling up, not these knowledge ranks that require you to visit shrines and find hidden stuff at said shrines.
All in all I enjoyed my time with this game but it's not one I'd play more than once. Lookin froward to that remake/remaster of Black Flag, hopefully they won't fuck it up by "modernizing" it, if you know what I mean
“DataPC_boot_sound_YOUR-LANGUAGE_patch_02.forge” to "DataPC_boot_sound_YOUR-LANGUAGE.forge“ and ”DataPC_Japan_sound_YOUR-LANGUAGE_patch_02.forge“ to ”DataPC_Japan_sound_YOUR-LANGUAGE.forge."
Of course, we'll always update the game if it has a "proper" crack. But it certainly won't be coming anytime soon, maybe a year from now, or even years from now.
I just wanted to see what the talk was about this game. But hypervisor is a solution, or you could always go purchase the game and leave the "high seas."
or you are new in the piracy world?
Never heard this game were mentioned here.
Besides even if I didn't, there are plenty of others who will still buy it and that, my friend, is why Denuvo will not go away anytime soon. Because companies keep making a profit and therefore see no reason to stop using it.
what you prefer

resident evil 4 says hi by the way :)
sales will be better, no matter if they even fucked up the franchise

ok, so avoid the releases clearly labeled (Hypervisor)? It's this or nothing.
So, you either buy it / don't play it at all, OR use a realistic approach...

What is a hypervisor, and is it safe? Please read this comment by IGG staff:

Hell no. That HV disables so many protections and may allow us to play, but while playing you know what.

That being said, I strongly discourage the use of the hypervisor bypass due to the inherent risks.
April MOB come earlier?
