The "combat" in this franchise is pretty damn weird if you ask me. But the good kind of weird. It very much is worth playing but MAYBE play the original one first
I'd say it's more unique. Silent Hill f was weird because of its history and how the protagonist is supposed to be a high school girl, but it feels like the combat was designed closer to a soulslike
this version is quite laggy, not in the stutter kind of lag, but it happen time from time, like when you turning or moving, no matter what setting you use , it still happen, its like the engine trying to load something. my guess is it have to do with the shader, shadow and lighting been always a problem for video game.
shame on Koei Tecmo for experimenting with new Engine for remake, why they not use the Yawaraka Engine/SoftEngine?? 5 doesn't have problem , why this have now??

This game doesn't work with a controller for some reason. Only mouse and keyboard. I'm using a PS5 controller and nothing works, despite the same controller working on other games
thanks for this (and so quick!) sadly, the game only shows controller prompts despite using kb&m. really frustrating. anyone know a fix to this? maybe i'll wait to play until my controller's working again.

Like Silent Hill f was just not fun. The combat was weird, especially with limited durability weapons, and the time slow on dodge. Felt incoherent
