the level of hand holding is diabolical. this is a linear game. the only path is forward. why is there yellow paint everywhere? i've never seen so much in my life.
The game is quite rough around the edge. The pistol feeling is like a nerf gun, everyone looks the same, etc. It's like a cheap version mix of RE and Bioshock. Although they know it since they've put at a low price so they're honest on the quality of their game.
Nah I was more talking about the overall feeling of the gun not the damage itself, it feels like there's no power behind it and not pleasant to fire.
I know you can upgrade it to the weird Witch that look like a man. In fact every female looks like men for some reason, except the leader of the Solari which seem like a puppet...
why do you say female when you refer to a woman, but man when you refer to a man? /gen
i agree though the combat never felt good to me, and i don't like how little they react when getting hit.
edit: not sure why there are people getting upset on booba's behalf? i wasn't asking because i'm offended, i'm genuinely curious. that's why i added /gen. it's a tone indicator. so you don't get the wrong idea.
"Man" is the generic term most people use on the internet to describe humanity or people in general. Most people also default to treating everyone they meet online as an adult male.
Gaming is predominantly a male hobby. There's far more male gamers than female gamers (with the exception of few genres) so once again everyone assumes they are talking to another dude.
Since the internet is largely anonymous and predominately male, that means the place is charged with male hormones, male bias, and lack of filters. Imagine a woman entering a man's club where everyone is anonymous and consequences are lax - you're going to be treated differently, for better or for worse.
"Girl" suggests someone young whereas "woman" suggests a mature individual. "Female" is universal regardless of age.
my curiosity stems from them having used "female" when referring to a woman, while they used "men" to refer to a man. my brain thinks of it like this: male/female, men/women, man/woman, etc. that's how i learned the language, and why i was curious, that's all.
Gaming in general is not a predominantly male hobby anymore and hasn't been for years.
Considering gaming doesn't just consist of competitive multiplayer games (which are predominantly male) and not encountering too many women in those types of games doesn't mean that the amount of them in gaming in general is so much less than men. A lot of times, if they do play any of those competitive multiplayer games, they don't use voice chat and pretend to be men because of the often toxic and sexist behavior of actual men when they find out they have women on their team.
Of course, there are always people who argue about who's considered a "real" gamer because they often don't see console and mobile gamers as "real" gamers but by definition a gamer is someone who regularly plays computer or video games, that includes PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
it doesn't matter to me what he refers to them as. i was asking a question, as i'm rarely able to do so in a place where my identity is anonymous. cheers.

feels like a damn early access game
You don't face enough enemies at once to justify it being any stronger tbh.

Anyway, there are a lot of male looking women in the game.
You happy now?
