to all who downloaded the game here instead of buying it - GOOD JOB! I bought it, played too much to get a refund and I regret this. So much money so poorly wasted. TeamNinja/KT doesn't give a duck about the performance. The game looks like it was made 10 years ago but it needs a pc/laptop I'm gonna buy in 10 years. Nioh 3 is much easier than the first and second games. Open world is nice but still I got a feeling this game is in some way worse than N1/2
You’re lucky. My computer has no trouble running other new titles - only this game in particular. The FPS are still acceptable, but the textures load so slowly that it really kills the desire to play
HA! I knew it. So, I've played the demo to this game for a couple of hours(It's a pretty sizable demo, not gonna lie) and all I have to say is that I do NOT like the new direction the game is taking. What first attracted me to this franchise is that fact that it was mission based in self contained maps. Large maps sure but still maps. Now they changed that into open world(Or open field as some people call it) and while it worked in Rise Of the Ronin it does NOT work in this, not for me. The ability to change between ninja and warrior fighting styles feels pointless though I do like the faster movesets the Katana and Dual Katana have in ninja mode, I just feel like they could have implemented it differently. They also changed the way soul cores and Omnyo magic works and I feel they changed it for the worse, there was zero reason to change both of those. The Crucible thing, I only got to experience one in the demo but it feels very similar to those areas in Nioh 2 where everything goes black and white. To me, it feels like they were just adding mechanics on top of pointless mechanics and pointlessly changing things in lieu of actual innovation though this is just my first impressions from the demo
It's especially bad if you're a completionist and do every side objective before the main one. By the time you've done all the available ones the main mission becomes piss easy
Less things? No, BETTER things. Why would you lower your standards just so you can enjoy more when you could be enjoying BETTER. Quality over quantity. Oh and also so they don't get so gosh darn offended over someone's opinion on the internet
Fair warning to everyone doing side quests: This game copy pastes bosses from the previous games without adding anything to them. Same intro cut scene, same location, same fight with nothing new. This only goes for side quests, main story bosses are all new
i got it working, i'm sure there must have been a mistake on my side, since i didn't do anything significant to get it working. should anyone else have this problem here's what i did, had to uninstall and install a couple if times: -downloaded all files from the same source (shouldn't matter but still did it) -make sure to check that anti virus is off as it can auto-delete some cracked files -don't move/delete data during installation (i did delete something during, it caused in Nioh to be an "app that this PC cannot open")
Perhaps you have BitLocker enabled in Windows? Or is your antivirus trying to scan the entire file before opening it? Often, with large files, if BitLocker or your antivirus is enabled, Windows will automatically read the entire file before mounting/opening it => the larger the file, the slower the reading time.
A simpler way, if you don't want to do any modifications, is to use WinRAR or 7z (https://www.7-zip.org/download.html), extract the ISO file, and then install from there for a simpler and faster process.

Is this your first time using pirate? This is released from the scene, it never has viruses. You see the name of this release "Nioh.3.Update.v1.03-TENOKE", it's not mine, I just re-uploaded it from SCENE, in this case the TENOKE team (you don't need to search their website, since it's not public on the internet, websites you find are known to fake and use the names of groups at SCENE).
What is Scene? you should search the wiki (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warez_scene) and google about this, they will explain it better than me. In general, the scene is decades old, certainly older than you (and me). It is completely safe. All the pirates you download from the internet, including movies, games, software,... are mostly leaked from the Scene. In other words, most uploaders re-upload from SCENE. If SCENE uploads the virus, then it will surely be the end of pirates.
In case you want to check exactly if these files are valid, you can use predb sites, for example: https://www.srrdb.com/browse/category:pc/order:date-desc/1. You use some popular software like 7z to get the CRC-32 hash of the ISO/exe file you just downloaded, compare it with the information on predb site, if they match then you are safe.
Exactly that is my problem.. i download SOOO often here, it is countless, lol, but never got the malware-message by my antivirus before. 1st time for many years and that's why I wrote it.
It could be a false positive, some games I downloaded got flagged as a false positive by Windows Defender, just disable it while you're installing the game, and then add exclusion to the folder once you're done with the installation

Noob comment, whenever I DL a game here with parts, part 1 can extract, but everything after that doesn't work. Then when I try to open the game after extracting part 1 only; it works. Am I missing something?
Download 7 zip, make sure the endings of each part are exactly the same without a (1) in there, this is usually the problem I'm mislabeling when trying to download the parts awhen an extra part is gets attempted to be downloaded
Occasionally, people encounter the same problem as you when opening large ISO files. The simplest solution is to extract the ISO file using WinRAR/7Z and install from there.
To transfer your demo save, open 'tenoke.ini' and replace the 'UserName' and 'AccountId' with the exact same values used in your demo version. Save File location: C:\Users[YourWindowsUser]\AppData\Local\KoeiTecmo\NIOH3\Savedata
That's mainly because of the samurai/ninja mode thing since some spirts are exclusive to samurai and others are exclusive to ninja. Same goes for weapons
Nioh 3 is much easier than the first and second games. Open world is nice but still I got a feeling this game is in some way worse than N1/2
I realized when playing, that, when fighting humans, they don't get decapitated like the yokai.
Now I can slice people up!
Also, I saw on the fitgirl forum someone had issues with video playback error and their solution was “install VP9 codecs”. Hopefully that helps you.

After you mount and install the .iso, turn the option back on.

2 was...fine, but it didn't give me the 1 itch
3 is far worse... the demo like 10 mins your thrown like 5 spirits already, nothing is special anymore
