This is one of those games everyone talks about is really good and then you play it and wonder what people were talking about. It feels incredibly clunky, just absolutely chock full of dialogue/text explanations and so many parts make no sense (like the planning stage, maybe later in the game it makes sense), and the constant pop ups "You aren't using more than 70% of your supplies" when you can't even use 70% of your supplies since the game gives you like 1 +35 supply object and a vehicle to add and no other choices. I just don't get this game at all and the AI art and voices are incredibly distracting.

Another indie slop got hyped to the edge of the universe by content creators that does not live up to ANY of their claims. I've always hated XCOM series for its retarded RNG system where every single shot your soldier fires will largely be a miss, and enemies will always have better luck than you from the get-go, and this game does NOT divert from that same retarded RNG system one bit.
And here's the thing: If your game relies this much on RNG to make the session last longer, that only means the game have fundamental design/balancing issues.
Also, Early Access is NOT an excuse for the game's clunkiness and lack of content.
Early Access means your game is FULLY FUNCTIONAL, FREE OF SILLY BUGS/GLITCHES THAT SHOULDN'T EXIST AND HAVE DECENT AMOUNT OF CONTENT.
And a lot of EA titles on Steam right now feels more like tech demo than alpha build of a game - you heard me right, not even in beta stage. Contents are often at bare minimum, and most of them reek with bugs and glitches.

However I'm NOT saying ALL Early Access titles are slops. Mech Havoc and Cleared Hot, for example, are OK EA titles that offers decent amount of content (still not enough) without any major glitches or bugs. MENACE, on the other hand... is not so healthy in any way or form.

I think some of you guys misunderstood what this guy said. I think what this guy wanna deliver was, in the past game industry, a game with a early access tag means a game is almost complete with enough content, will leave EA soon after a few more error and trial. But now, a game with EA tag, is more likely a demo, lack of content, full of bugs and other gameplay problems. I think XRRoy was complaining this problem. Undoubtedly, the tag "EA" is overused.
This one feels so much more repetitive then it's predecessor, Battle Brothers. At least you could travel the map, have all sorts of surprises but in this one you are stuck in the same Solar System, no travel what so ever... The only thing to do is click on a symbol and there you are.
My advice for all of you now is to use some kind of a trainer, either from Fling or WeMod, now Wand, skip the grind and explore as much you can until the final, proper release.

BTW I rec Rewa over Achilleas, Greekbro is too expensive. Black woman is great. Carda has the best growth, and is very cheap which is VERY important. Tech can shoot a rocket launcher without kneeling down which is amazing because those fucking cars WILL stay out of your shoot range, so of you are already kneeling then you stand up, move, kneel, shoot. that's 100 AP without the move part, which means you won't have the option to shoot sometimes without him.

If you like XCOM's Long War mod or Terra Invicta then you would like this game because the amount of planning youre going to do is massive. This isn't an instant fun game but if you like on making spreadsheets to plan your builds then this game would be fun for you.
