I've played for a little bit. I don't think this game is necessarily bad, but there is absolutely nothing good about this game either.
Let me put it this way: if I were immortal and had an infinite amount of time to waste in this world, I probably still wouldn't play it more than one playthrough.
I can't necessarily point out something that is too bad about this game. Everything just works. The combination of rogue-like elements is very subpar, but it kind of works.
I don't know how to explain. Have you ever been on some flash game site and you see some "very generic side-scrolling jumping platformer flash game" that was made by a dude on free time, and in the past 20 years, fewer than 500 people played it in the game's entire existence? This game is that in modern day equivalent.
Is the game good? No, far from it. Is it getting bad? Not really either. You can get an ending, and the gameplay is just fine. There are no horrible bugs or anything. But if you ask, is this game worth your time? I have to say no. There are way better things to do with your life.
I've watched the gameplay. I thought for sure it's gotta be a really interesting game, but turned out it wasn't.
I got put off by the fact while journeying to other places, I gotta have to play cards to advance, repair and stuff. I thought the whole card mechanic was meant for combat only, but it also cover to such extent. Just from that alone I could tell, I'm not going to like this game at all.
I'm going to give this game a try, but I don't have high hopes. Ninety percent of the positive reviews are in Chinese, while most of the negative reviews are in other languages other than Chinese. This suggests that either the game is poorly translated or the devs pays Chinese influencers to post positive reviews to chinese player base.
