The plants are AI upscale. The loading speed is longer than the original. plants card is still like the original with no upscale. When you change the speed of a level, the sun falling speed doesn't change. Sometimes, the music also goes faster because of speed change. Almost no new content compared to the original. The "new" contents are from pvz1 of phone and the China level.
I can list more but it would just be a waste of time. EA let one dude from the og team to make a new team without any of the og pvz team and made this game in 6 months. You can easily see why this game's quality is just meh. This is just a cash grab for old fan.
So funny thing: If anyone here uses Discord and wants to get those orbs for cosmetics, there is a quest that gives you 700 orbs for playing this game and yes, you can use the pirated version for it. Should work with other games too
again I'd rather not risk it. Besides, the only quests I do are the ones that give me orbs and those are normally the "watch a video for a minute" ones so
the ones that do "watch a video" arent the only ones that give orbs and that's not why i use the script. i mentioned i used it in case others were curious, not for you! there are plenty of cases where ORB's are given for "playing a game" to which this works pretty well for that.
Video watching is the vast majority though. And when you get them via games, they're usually free games you can get off steam. Fun fact, for those you don't even need to move off the launcher, having the launcher open is more than enough for it to count. PVZ was the first one I saw that required a paid game
Yes, for orbs vids are a larger sum. But PVZ isnt the only one that required a purchase. Arc raiders, BF6, and a few other things (i do not own) i obtained thru that github script.
that being said, i just accept ALL quests, run the script and leave it be (when i need orbs) right now i have 4k or so and purchased a 3day pass (which is useless for myself). The main focus of my comment or reply now is towards how easy it is to accept all, run and let it be for 10 min. (as long as your on the quest page in discord). you can do whatever else you wish on your pc while its doing its thing.
honestly im too deprived from the lack of original pvz content that even if this is worse than the original, might as well just try it and have them both, couldnt hurt
If you want to play a modernized version of PvZ 1- I heavily recommend you just go ahead and download the touchscreen TV version of the original, it's the expanded version of the original PC game without all the modern Pop-Cap crap.
