Minimum requirement of 8GB (actually 6GB if you consider the game doesn't take more than 4GB by itself) for a low-res pixel game without any fancy effects. This is a state of current programming and optimization. Merely a decade ago a game with such graphics would happily fit on a 512MB, lol...

Yeah, I'm disappointed too. Game isn't bad. It's interesting, has good pixel art, it's cute and funny... but modern developers - are just incompetent imbeciles. Besides a bunch of bugs that can ruin your experience, game also has serious technical issues. Including optimization and memory leaks. In my case, it suddenly started consuming 6.5 GB from 3.5 GB (and I only have 8... 2 of which are spent on system). With this visual appearance, it should have run on a 4th Pentium and 2 GB of RAM. Game left Early Access too early. It should have stayed there for at least six months.

I really wanted to buy it (it's cheap), but it's not available in PT-BR.
I'll wait a little longer.

Man I really want to support the devs, but I just lost my job and I've been having ice soup and sleep for dinner this month...

For people with OCD like me who keep getting distracted by the version number f.always shown on the game screen, and able to edit a byte in a file (for v5.0.9.0):
