my installer won't work. i open the .iso file and run the setup.exe file but its just a black window. i have internet off and anti-virus off so those aren't the issue. help

Probably because the site didn't update the game to its 1.01 version they fixed bit of issues with optimization and said they planning on delivering more
The Dev updated the game but also they plan on keep updating the game till they fix the optimisation issues they have issues in the game as it not really optimised at all
Fun game, a bit grindy though. (Though i heard it was fixed in 1.02)
Good thing i farmed all my characters to level 40 by spawn camping elites otherwise the last act would have been impossible to do. Game has 2 possible endings that i know of (and maybe a 3rd neutral one?). One achieved by befriending everyone(aka capturing all of them) and one by going on a genocide run and attacking everyone.
The style of backgrounds and lighting in the last screenshot really reminds me of Rogue: Genesia. I wonder if they share some designer, because they're made by different studios, and I don't think that specific style is widely popular.
It certainly requires more than just 8GB of ram, if the boom of ram usage at first boot is any indication, eating all what it can claim. After a while it drops to about 4gb but stayed indefinitly at the loading screen with 100% cpu, while slowly eating away again toward the 8GB cap on my laptop, signs of unoptimized code. My mid level old machine simply cannot handle it.
