I already watched Iron Pineapple's video on the game. He says solo is very difficult, basically challenge run tier - keeping in mind he is a prominent Souls YouTuber. It's not going to stop me from trying, but it may make me enjoy it less, which is the real issue...
what does challenge run tier mean in this context. I just like the game if i want to go around and fuck around in the world. Its a great time sink. Ive never officially beaten the game, but I tend to never beat games like this because i pick them up and put them down. A tower mode would be pretty neat in this universe but it would get dull for multiple obvious reasons
I think he just meant that it's even more difficult than a normal Souls game would be, like runs in them done with specific challenges in mind. If you don't mind not beating it, I think you're gucci. It seems you get AI companions and a free self-revive, at least, so if you're really good you might pull it off.

Except this isn't new content? It's the same content presented in a different way. Same gameplay, same enemies, same world, same dungeons, same everything.
So, I commented this yesterday and then deleted it, thinking I may have judged the solo experience too immaturely.
Now that I have actually beaten my first run, I think I have a better understanding of how the game is played solo.
Most of my original thoughts still stand. Solo is certainly a challenge run. The fact that your death at any of the 3 main bosses means "game over" is what makes it a challenge run.
The one thing that changed is that the game grew on me and I don't find it annoying any more. It's like defeat in solo is the norm and managing to go beyond the first night is "just a pleasure to be there" 😅 If you are a mere mortal like me (not a souls veteran) and you can make peace with that, you'll have fun.
Two things I like to add:
They plan to make significant changes and rebalances to the game, specially the solo experience in patch 1.0.2 coming next week. So, the experience will likely improve significantly.
If you plan to play this online through fixes make sure you find friends. Otherwise I've heard playing with uncoordinated randos is actually worse than playing solo.

In concept, this could've been a great solo experience. "Don't have time for a 300-hour Elden Ring campaign? Fret not child, here's a bite-sized one-hour quickie instead to scratch the itch, with meta progression and everything".
But this is designed, from the ground up, for team play. You'll commonly run into situations where you'll find groups of enemies on your ass. Dark Souls 2 memories come rushing back. However, unlike DS2 you're also on the clock here.
Maybe I haven't been thorough enough and there are mechanics to mitigate the solo pain that I haven't found yet, but as it stands, it is a challenge run.

Yes, you can play solo offline. Well, semi solo as you'll be accompanied by AI bots. Supposedly @0xdeadcode is going to release an online fix soon so be on the lookout for that

I used the “ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN – Online Fix Patch” to defeat an empowered boss three times, but I only received 20 Sovereign Sigils on the first run and just 1 Sovereign Sigils each time after that. Normally, you should get 25 Sovereign Sigils on the first run and 5–7 Sovereign Sigils on subsequent runs. Could this be due to the pirate version? Does anyone know of a solution?

There are you having problem, just take a screenshot of what you want to ask, that will be easier for me to explain... because actually it's too basic to guide :D... just download, double click and install, I don't know how to write a guide anymore when it's already the most basic thing. So the best, now you download update v1.01.1, then unzip, and take a picture for me of what you want to guide.
i dont know how to put a picture here but when i open the patch in the update, in the patch application window it says Required data not found in current dir or wrong version! and when i browse in the installation path i cant find the game
Is anyone not getting anymore sovereign sigils after the first successful run ? I got 25 when i first defeated the boss but subsequent runs only gave me relics and murk. Just wondering if anyone has the same problem and if this is a problem with the pirated version or a bug within the game.
No its not possible at this moment! i have made this clear. (It may be possible in the future just involves the mechanic to function but at this moment it is not possible it only works with up invites system )
There is a chance that the iso file you downloaded was not complete, use 7z, get its CRC32 code, it should be "3E93B662". Let me know if yours has the correct code.
Depending on each game it's usually an easy step but for cracked versions of games save files usually don't work well or communicate well with full games but it depends on the game as for this game sadly I do not have any personal details on that at the moment to provide so I know this is pretty useless of a comment but I do want to say this sort of thing isn't likely for every single cracked game so for future reference
Does anyone know why I have [string not found] instead of any text, It worked fine yesterday after I installed the game and the v1.01.1 version, but I installed the seamless coop and the controler fix and now its like this, it also doesn't show im playing spacewar on steam. If I open the game using nightreign.exe I can see the text, in my bottom right corner is says [OFFLINE] App version v1.01.1 Calibrations ver 1.01.2
Make sure you please read each tutorial thoroughly And make sure you're following my guide as advised As stated on my online fix guide as well as stated on the Seamless Co-op Nexus mod page . do not load the game through the main nightreign.exe. You must load the game through the nrsc_launch.exe
If the pre patch version isn't the latest update then you'll have to get another installer or get the game from another installer IGG or somewhere else and then just use the stand alone patch to apply the patch to that version of the game I have currently checked and they do not have the latest release out yet so if its has it out first you'll just have to pre patch the file and override it in the same game version that you have in your folder structure and Justice apply the patch after that I checked
So the newest update/ patch they did the other day isn't released here I got that but like updating the game and keeping your progress is a concern I don't wanna fully re-install the game and lose my progress. Just wanna make sure that when it does get released I can update and have all my relics and characters still unlocked. TY in advance :)

i was wondering would our torrent get updated, or are we forced to redownload the whole thing again, cuz redownloading it is a hassle? i can't play the game since i get oneshoted by the boss on the first day
Three friends and I downloaded the game and followed all the setup steps correctly. When we play solo or in pairs, everything works fine. However, when we try to play as a group of three, the game doesn’t start—it either gets stuck on "preparing the game" indefinitely or cancels on its own. I recommend checking out the Prepatched online version of the game for a stressless experience as well as online capabilities, if thats better for you ether way there's options for everyone play styles Offline version and Online version!

Also When you are all ready up you will not see each other at the round table that's just how the game works you will see each other once you initialize the first mission and you enter the world but you will not see each other in the round table as of right now that's just a game play decision

This is indeed true. Even though The Duskbloods, the next Fromsoft game directed by Miyazaki and made by the main team, is also multiplayer focused, they had stated multiple times that their main focus will remain on single player adventures.
Edit: Just to clarify so I don't sound confusing. Miyazaki never said either of these two games (Nightreign & The Duskbloods) were focused on single player. He said the studio's main entries and direction will be single player focused. He seems to consider both of these games creative side projects.

That usually means you forgot to crack the game: When you use the installer,under the pathline (where you choose to install the game), there is a little box labeled as copy crack to game, just click into it(its now marked),and then install.

PS:You can also crack it "manually",just open the unpacked iso-file, there is a folder called Rune,inside are the crack files,you need to copy and paste them into the game-folder(where you installed the game).
I don't remember ever asking for an easy mode in any FromSoftware game before, in fact I consider most soulslike games to be too easy, this is the exception because ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN whas MADE for multiplayer so it's not balanced for single player

Yes there are. But they aren't sliders or toggle options, they're called use overpowered builds(usually magic based). And in this game? It's called Ironeye, Executor or Raider
Because you don't know korean or because you don't know how to put it in korean? I changed it to spanish changing english to spanish in the steam_emu.ini file in the game folder, so you can try putting it in korean there.
Yup, the only DRM that causes scene groups any challenge is Denuvo at this current moment. Hopefully that barrier doesn't last forever, since the one person who could crack it went insane and presumably self-destructed.
Keep in mind, this game was designed to be played co op with other people. While you CAN play offline with AI bots, it's not the intended experience so your millage may vary

Edit: Just to clarify so I don't sound confusing. Miyazaki never said either of these two games (Nightreign & The Duskbloods) were focused on single player. He said the studio's main entries and direction will be single player focused. He seems to consider both of these games creative side projects.

When you use the installer,under the pathline
(where you choose to install the game),
there is a little box labeled as copy crack to game,
just click into it(its now marked),and then install.
Thats it.

PS:You can also crack it "manually",just open the unpacked iso-file,
there is a folder called Rune,inside are the crack files,you need to copy and paste them into the game-folder(where you installed the game).
