Makes you think about all the other big game dev studios with pver 100+ employees that don't understand their own game direction on a semi regular basis. When you have a dedicated and passionate team, great games can come from it, otherwise you have to many cooks in the kitchen.
About the updates, i am downloading for the first time on torrent. Do i need to download every update individually or the torrent version is already fully updated?
if the torrent shows its the latest update, then its the latest update and you wont need to download other's. if it shows its the base version number, you will need to download the updates in order (installing one at a time of course). currently on the latest version, running just fine at 4k.
I agree, though Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 very well holds his own even when it was released the same time as Oblivion Remastered. It's what earlier Final Fantasy was with better battle mechanics before it turned more into what the later Final Fantasy is now. The story is great, the battle mechanics are great, dodging, parrying, jumping to avoid attacks are a great addition and I couldn't recommend it more if you liked the turn-based Final Fantasy from back then with more nuance.
You wouldn't be disappointed to spend the money on this game, I can assure that to everyone who is into that.
erk's me when people only give praise to final fantasy for "turn based", when this is more closely to legend of dragoon than anything else with how its combat really is... if you dont know about the legend of dragoon, you should 100% check it out (its an old ps1 title at that) but still a great game and for sure impacted what this game offers today.

I agree. Miss the turn based style of Final Fantasy and CO:E33 has some surprising complexity in it's combat which FF back in the day didn't have too much. Love the Free Aim mechanic quite a bit. Hello i have a small problem i play with a ps4 controller and when i launch the game via steam or in normal the keys are xbox's, i try to launch ds4 too but it doesn't change the keys that appear, always xbox's and not playstation's. does anyone have a solution? thanks

This game suck! After so much sweet i put in it, the game got me stuck with a boss that I cannot parry or dodge his attack, he spams AOE attack and prevents me from farming xp. The parry and doge mecanic has to be frame perfect, and even despite how well the dodge or parry looks on screen you will find yourself questioning "How is that not a doge?". The game dosn't calcualte hitboxes so I have no way to tell when the game wants me to give the imput. I beat myself only to reach a dead end.
I think I know why... looking at your image, it seems your path contains the special character "...?33...", please remove that question mark in the directory.

It's p common with cracked games since the most common practice is through ISO files, it does the same back then when CD games was the trend and cracked games are also in a CD
For those experiencing "corrupted game," the cause is your save file. More specifically, your previous save file is located in a different path than the one used by this version => You may have downloaded the game or used a crack from elsewhere.
If you previously downloaded it from this website, you shouldn't have any problems. We always use the same crack file (using the same save location) across all versions :)
My first version came from a different site, that site has updated their download and i tried it with that one and it worked perfectly. Look at roosevelt2362's answer above :) Hope this helps
why do you need v1.3.0??? just install base game -> v1.3.1 -> v1.4.0 . And you have the latest version then. why do you want v1.3.0 instead of the new version?
If you don't apply the the crack (copy contents of RUNE directory) when you install something with the RUNE installer, then this always happens. It doesn't deposit the crack, so it tries to connect you to the service. Those cracked files trick the game to launch in the first place without wanting to log you in. But yes, always read pinned comments if you are unsure. Roosevelt2362 doesn't post them for nothing.
Multi part downloads don't seem to work no more, some 3rd parts can't be downloaded (GoFile) and some parts are suspicious (MegaUp), other links either aren't free to fully download or don't work at all!

I deleted all the game folder and keep the save in "user" folder of window. Downloaded again and installed the game a 2nd time, in C:/games. Turned off my AV and patched it, it's ok for me. You downloaded a corrupted file, probably 1 of 3 parts, try downloading it again. BTW, do you have winrar? usually winrar will notify exactly which file is corrupted, you just need to download that part (7z doesn't notify, it only notifies the last part by default)
winrar > 7zip while 7zip has its uses, its just not ideal for corruption issues the whole "7zip is free" argument people make isnt valid in the piracy scene lol...
have you updated to either v56190 or v1.2.2 before or are you on the version straight from the 3 part download? If you only have the 3 part download installed and try to update to 1.2.2, then you'd need to update to v56190 first before you can do that. You need to go one update at a time and in order before being able to apply others otherwise it will cause problems like this one where it looks for certain changes from update to update and if there is something missing it's looking for, then it will most likely give you a mismatch.

Usually you don't need to, since your save files are not located in the game directory, but in one of your Appdata folders as "Sandfall". If you want to back it up, you can, but usually not necessary when you have an update patcher like this.

this is the directory where your save file will be if you wanted to know that. There is a folder with a bunch of numbers and a Backup folder right after it. In there will be your save files.

It happens to me,too.It can get better after a while, but the speed fluctates from 200-500kb to 20-30mbs. This is a new thing since update for me,too.🤔 So you are not the only one,try Go-file(you probably already did it,right?), they are still steady solid.😆
When it comes to megaUp,try it on other days,it can run better. Its annoying and abit frustrating because megaUp was very reliable. Since Update,i am not so sure any more if it will be back to be fast n steady....

Its wierd becauce the 5gb parts are very fast and steady, however the 20 gb-parts varies since the ,lack of better word, visually update. Its not always slow,but very often with 20gb parts going up and down in speed.
I thought maybe its just a fling(could be my provider,they make updates,too),😆 but it didnt went away/changed.yes sometimes megaUp is so slow(only 20gb-parts),fortunately Go-file saves the day.

Should i try redownloading the full game and re-patched? But I've started playing the game, can i still recover my saved file?
got the same problem and now it's ok.
I deleted all the game folder and keep the save in "user" folder of window. Downloaded again and installed the game a 2nd time, in C:/games. Turned off my AV and patched it, it's ok for me. Yup as you can see I've installed the first patch before going on to the 2nd one, might be some files corrupted while doing that.
