Will it keep the all-important bug in the 2nd game where it tries to read in the character name of the player character in the first, but for some reason only reads the first character? JcDohl will rise again!
Dragon Armed Forces 5 days ago edited These modifications are not enough. I am critical and believe they should introduce reforms.
1- Why do we play with pixels? Why not use miniature anime graphics instead of pixels in the same way? The characters should be anime-like.
2- The way the characters are equipped with armor should be reconsidered.
It is important that weapons, armor, and tools have images, and when the character wears them, we should see the character actually wearing them.
For example, I chose a hat and a rope for Victor. We see that Victor is wearing the hat and has rope on his chest.
3- The character profile images should be improved.
One should be facing one direction and the other facing the other. It's okay for their images to be acceptable when speaking, as if they are looking at the person they are talking to.
Just wait till you try eiyuuden chronicles. Compared to that, this is a better and polished game.
In all seriousness, the game is a remaster of the ps2's 2000~ era. Trying to put in realism in JRPG is very unlikely to happen anyways. And I'm pretty sure giving feedback in a piracy site is the least effective way to get your point across. lol
Turns out installing Suikoden fix mod had made the game to not display the debug menu. Just a heads up to those are installing the mod, I have no issues on suikoden 1 but on suikoden 2, the early chapters and in the late chapter had me softlocked.
My solution to this problem is to have 2 different versions of the game, vanilla and the modded one. When softlocked, load the last safe file to to vanilla ver and proceed a bit into the game, then return to the modded version.
Inb4 why mod the game, there are number of good QOL mods that makes the game run faster especially screen transitions, battle speed and movement speed that shaves a good chuck of my time playing the game.
is this game supported a usb controller im using redragon saturn g807 wired controller i also try x360e app but it wont work on this game but on my other games my edragon saturn g807 wired controller is working
Add this game as a "non-steam-game" to your library, then go into steam settings and turn on "controller support". this should resolve the issue you face. Otherwise, you may need to use the "XBOX" app that microsoft bloats into windows and use its built in controller configuration.
Never played any of the originals, so I can't tell. But since Konami can't even port an NES game to PC without making it look, play and feel worse than an emulator, well...
I know they were PSX games, just pointing out that if they do crappy ports of old-ass games like Castlevania they'd hardly do any better with PSX titles for PC. Maybe.
Is it? Cause I absolutely loved everything about it. I love the story, I loved the characters, I loved the naval combat, I loved the music, I loved the design, I loved everything about it
If you love the 4th, I guarantee you will adore the 1st and fall head over heels the 2nd. The 2nd one is in my opinion the best in the series. I still replay it from time to time.

And yeah, they look slightly better than the original, but not enough to justify the price tag. Just emulate the originals.
